Apple Announces List of Most Downloaded Apps and Games of 2021

After reading this, you will feel powerful! I betcha!

On a fine Thursday, 2nd December 2021, Apple gave us the names of ”Most Downloaded” Apps and Games of 2021.

Can’t say we weren’t waiting for it but yeah, the list is finally here. All apps spread through all Apple devices which includes Mac, Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone, etc.

Also, you won’t be shocked if you know the name of the most popular free iPhone application in the US. A big round of applause for TikTok, which takes home the trophy for being categorized in 2021.

On the contrary, coming to ”paid” apps, Procreate, made it to the top spot. Well, I kinda knew it but hey, I don’t want credits. 

AND OH MY GOD would you want to guess our top ranker? I sorta knew this too.

Among Us, ladies, and gentlemen and then coming to ”paid’ games, it was Minecraft!

Best Games and Apps of 2021 – Apple’s Announcement!

Moreover, the App Store Award winners’ names were also out.

Toca Life World, from Toca Boca, won iPhone App of the Year. and League of Legends: Wild Rift, from Riot Games bagged the iPhone Game of the Year award.

If you look at the winners, they are all new entries in the Apple App world. However, they have showcased their excellence in presenting the apps most creatively.

Things were different for ”Toca Life World” though. Toca Boca, the developer of the applications in March celebrated its tenth anniversary. The game now reaches out to 40 kids.

Apple has also praised the application stating “masterfully iterating on the art of play and self-expression for kids.”
