The former MMA star is facing charges for an attempt to murder for a shooting incident that occurred in California’s Bay Area. The San Jose Police Department stated that the victim has suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Reliable sources say that Valesquez confronted a man in Morgan Hill, CA. He was charged with committing lewd acts on one of his family members, like 100 times! In response, Cain pulled out his firearm and shot at the man but he missed. Instead, the shot went to the man’s father, causing him a non-life-threatening injury.
Cain is currently at the Santa Clara County jail, and the police stated that “The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation at this time.” The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office stated that “Our Office has not received the police report yet to review and therefore have no information on Mr Velasquez. No charges have been filed at this time.”

About Cain Velasquez
Cain Velasquez is a well-known figure of the UFC Championship. He is a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion. Cain turned to Mixed Martial Arts in 2006 and retired in 2019. He beat Brock Lesner for the UFC title in 2010 and reclaimed it in 2012 after his loss to Junior dos Santos. Cain suffered a knockout loss in the 2019 UFC fight to his contest with Francis Ngannou.
Cain previously competed for the Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA. He made his debut in WWE on the first episode of SmackDown on Fox in 2019. Cain married his then-girlfriend Michelle Velasquez in 2011 and has two children with her. He is a prominent “Brown Pride tattoo on his upper chest as a tribute to his Mexican heritage.
