Olivia Plath is mourning the loss of her 15-year-old brother, Micah Meggs! The Welcome to Plathville star recently revealed that her younger brother Micah died in a bike accident that took place on May 4.

Olivia Plath’s brother Micah Meggs has passed away at 15
Olivia Plath is grieving the loss of her brother Micah Meggs! At the time of his passing, Meggs was only 15 years old. Olivia’s younger brother Micah died in a bike accident that happened on May 4, 2023.
As per Us Weekly, last week, the TLC reality star took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Hey guys, I’m jumping off of social media for a bit. Don’t worry if you don’t see me around — I’m taking some space now.”
Olivia who is also a wedding photographer went on to say, “I lost a younger brother last night to an unexpected accident and I need some clarity and space for grieving.”
On Tuesday, Plath reminded her Instagram followers that she is “on a social media break due to a family death.” Along with this, she also asked her customers to email her via her website instead of DMing her.

As per Franklin County news outlet The Roanoke Times, Virginia State Police stated that Meggs was riding his electric bicycle around 10 p.m. in the right lane of a major highway on Thursday when a Honda Accord hit him. He passed away at the scene of the accident.
At the moment, the cops are investigating the case. Micah was the ninth one of the 10 kids. Meggs is survived by his father Don Meggs, his mother Karen Meggs, siblings Elijah, Joshua, Elise, Lydia, Sophia, Nathan, Carris, Olivia, and Kirsten, his two grandmothers, Juanita Meggs and Jerry Boyer and several nieces and nephews.
In his obituary shared, Micah’s loved ones described him as a “fun loving” teen who “enjoyed spending his time outdoors” as well as “playing practical jokes, sharing his understated sense of humor and bringing laughs to those he loved.”
Throughout his entire life, Olivia’s brother Micah suffered from cerebral palsy caused by a brachial plexus injury during his birth which made it difficult for him to do the things he enjoyed so much.
His family members further added, “Despite the physical difficulties he experienced, Micah never complained or let himself be limited by his disability and continually found ways to pursue his outdoor activities despite this struggle.”
Meggs’ family is asking for donations to the United Brachial Plexus Network (UBPN) “in lieu of flowers.” According to the obituary, his memorial service will take place at Flora Funeral Chapel, around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
