American actor Willie Garson who gained a huge recognition for his role in Sex and the City died on 21 September, Tuesday as confirmed by his son. Garson died at the age of 57. However, no details regarding the cause of his death have been disclosed yet.
The actor is known for portraying the role of a talent agent as well as the best friend of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in “Sex and the City”.
He is also known for his role as Mozzie in the Television series White Collar. His recent work has been in the spin-off series And Just Like That.

His son Nathen Garson whom Willie Garson adopted in the year 2009 took to his Instagram handle and paid tribute to his beloved father.
He wrote, “I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you.”
“Love you more than you will ever know and I’m glad you can be at peace now. You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared you’re love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it ❤️😘” he further added.

Following his death news, the actor’s friends and fans poured in with their condolence messages on social media.
Garson’s on-screen partner, Mario Cantone headed to his Instagram account and shared his feelings by writing, “I couldn’t have had a more brilliant TV partner. I’m devastated and just overwhelmed with Sadness. Taken away from all of us way soon. You were a gift from the gods sweet Willie. Rest …I love you.”
His co-actor Cynthia Nixon in the series took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “We all loved him and adored working with him. He was endlessly funny on-screen and in real life. He was a source of light, friendship and show business lore. He was a consummate professional— always. My heart goes out to his son, @Nathen_Garson.”
William Garson was born in the year 1964 in New Jersey. He opted for theatre and completed his masters degree in fine arts from Yale School of Drama.
He started his acting career by taking smaller roles in a number of TV series in the ’80s like Family Ties, Cheers among others.
Garson was also seen in The X-Files, Boy Meets World, and Friends. However, his role in different seasons of Sex and the City as Stanford Blatch gained a huge recognition for him.
