Drew Barrymore and Savannah Guthrie have granted their friendship a permanent stamp of approval, proving that their company has standing.
After Savannah revealed on a recent show episode that she had gotten a tattoo with Barrymore, the duo showed off the inking she had undergone on Jan. 31.
In Honor Of Her Late Father, Guthrie Displayed Her Meaningful Ink
There is no doubt Savannah Guthrie is following in the footsteps of one of her BFFs Drew Barrymore. On Tuesday, “Today” host Savannah Guthrie announced that she had inked her first tattoo due to being inspired by the actress.
She was a 16-year-old girl when her father died suddenly of a heart attack, and he had the words “all my love” tattooed on the inside of the right forearm of her right hand to honor them. “This is an exact carbon copy of my father’s handwriting,” the actress said during her appearance on NBC’s program The Today Show.
“‘All my love.’ He wrote a love letter to my mom, and this is his writing. And, that’s the first time in my life, I’m 51 years old, that I’ve had a tattoo, that I ever wanted a tattoo. And it’s not only his writing, so he’s with me, but I’m trying to make it my mantra for life.” One year ago, the talk show host told Barrymore that she had been inspired by the designs on the “Charlie’s Angels” star’s body and had contemplated getting inked.
Barrymore added three simple oblong fish on the lower half of her forearm, whose meaning has yet to be revealed as to why the actress chose to do this. There are a lot of similarities between Barrymore and Guthrie, including their love of royalty and their collaboration on the new Netflix series “Princess Power,” which is based on Guthrie’s book, “Princesses Wear Pants.” Barrymore also added an 11th tattoo to her collection after providing emotional support for Guthrie.
Savannah Guthrie Says Goodbye After 5 Years To Her $7.1M NYC Home
Having lived in the same apartment in New York City for over five years with her husband, Michael Feldman, Savannah Guthrie, and her children are looking to move on. The residence in Tribeca has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The property went on the market for $7.1 million on Monday afternoon.
Her “Today” anchor husband, who is also a former member of the Democratic National Committee, bought the home in 2017 for about $7.114 million. If the house had traded hands at its current list price, plus the costs of renovations over the years, they would be willing to accept an approximate $14,000 loss.
