Welcome to Eden is a Spanish thriller series that premiered on Netflix last year and went on to become one of the most-watched shows on the platform. It follows a group of friends who are invited to a secret island, but soon find out that they are trapped with a cult.
After the humongous success, the series returned with its second season recently. Audiences who have already binged on the show are now asking for another season. But is Welcome to Eden renewed for season 3? Continue reading to find out.
Welcome to Eden Season 3: Renewal Status and Potential Release Date
At the time of writing, Welcome to Eden has not been renewed for a third season. That being said, the second season of the series only premiered recently, so Netflix will take a few weeks or days before deciding on its future. The streaming platform will consider the viewership numbers and other aspects before renewing the series.
From the story’s point of view, Welcome to Eden does need another season as the previous one ended on a cliffhanger. The debut installment of the show spent five weeks in the global Top 10 lists on Netflix and was renewed within 19 days. If the second season also receives a similar response, we can expect the show to be renewed in the upcoming weeks.
The first season premiered on May 6th, 2023, followed by the second season less than a year later on April 21st, 2023. If the same trend is followed, we can expect Welcome to Eden to return with season 3 by the Spring of 2024.
Welcome to Eden Season 3: Potential Storyline

If the third season does get green-lit, the main cast members will most probably reprise their roles. The cast includes Amaia Aberasturi as Zoa Rey Gómez-Fajardo, Amaia Salamanca as Astrid Bartos Sepúlveda, Tomy Aguilera as Juan Carlos, Diego Garisa as Ibón Arregui, Berta Castañé as Gabi Rey, and Albert Baro as Aldo Roig Muro.
