Black Clover is a hidden gem when it comes to watching anime shows. The series is written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. Black clover Manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen jump since 2015. The Anime adaptation was produced by Perriot and aired in 2017. The show was an instant hit for the production house.

Plot
Set in a magical world where everyone is born with the ability to utilize Mana. Mana is a form of magic power. The story follows the lives of two orphan boys raised in an orphanage. Asta and Yuno are raised like brothers but couldn’t be less alike.
While Yuno is born with the ability to use his Mana, with no magic, Asta focuses more on physical strength. Yuno is born with immense magical power and is a prodigy. Furthermore, with the dream of becoming the next Wizard king, the two boys form a friendly rivalry.
Yuno obtains a legendary Four leaf Grimoire while Asta obtains a mysterious five Leaf Grimoire. The five-leaf Grimoire contains elf swords and a bodiless devil race member who utilizes rare anti-magic. The boys move further to join the magic knights.
Asta joins the Black bulls, and Yuno enters the elite knights’ Golden dawn. The story shows the knights embarking on various adventures while fighting the extremist group called Eye of the Midnight sun. The Devil manipulates the group to avenge the injustice committed against Elves by the Clover Kingdom.
Furthermore, the Magic Knights face the Spade Kingdom, while Yuno and Asta learn more about the Devil’s influence on their lives. Moreover, the triads plan to manifest Devil in their world entirely. The Boys must stop that from happening to protect their world and help save all the people.
More About The Black Clover
The Manga has been on a hiatus to prepare for the last arc of the series. The studio is set to release a Black Clover movie on 31st March 2023. Ayataka Tanemura willl direct the movie. Netflix has licensed the film for streaming.
The movie is titled Black Clover: Sword of the wizard King. The series will come out with the fifth season in late 2023 or 2024.
