The upcoming season of The Voice has a surprise swivel of judges. Every year, the show has new contestants who fight to win the title. Some judges remained the same and provided the show with some familiarity but all that is about to change.
NBC announced that the competition series will premiere on March 6, 2023. There will be two new faces in the panel of coaches, three coaches will be out, and two will be returning to the show.
The Voice Season 23 New Judges
Here is the list of new judges that will be joining the show for the next season.

Niall Horan
Niall Horan is one of the two new judges who will appear on season 23 of The Voice. The singer used to be in one of the biggest boybands across the world, One Direction. The boys, including Horan, parted ways and went on to have solo singing careers. His music leans into soft rock, country, and pop.
2. Chance The Rapper
Chance the rapper will be another new addition to the panel of judges this year. He is a famous musician who got fame after his second mixtape Acid Rap went viral. He has won three Grammys so far and does a lot of charitable work for his community as well. He is an independent artist who has come up from nothing.
Returning Judges
These judges have been on the show before but left due to other commitments, except for Blake Shelton.

Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson will be returning as one of the judges on the show. The Stronger singer acted as a coach from season 14 to 21, before exiting the show last season. Camilla Cabello took her place for season 22, but Clarkson will be returning to the show, much to the delight of fans. She leans into pop music more than any other genre.
2. Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton, the renowned country singer, will also be returning to the show for the last time. He has been with the show since the beginning, which means that he has been on all 22 seasons so far without any breaks.
However, the network announced that he will be bidding goodbye to the show after the 23rd season. Eight of his coached contestants have won the show so far while 15 others have had no.1 hits on the iTunes chart.
About leaving the show, he said that “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23.” He also thanked everyone that was involved in the making of the show and added that “It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week.”
Judges That Left The show
After being on the show for 6 consecutive seasons, John Legend will be taking a break and stepping away from the judge’s seat. Camilla Cabello will not be returning to the show after being a judge for only one season. Gwen Stefani has come and gone from the show a couple of times now.
The season is all set to be a thriller with a variety of judges this year. From the independent producer and rapper Chance the rapper to the legendary Blake Shelton, Niall Horan, and Kelly Clarkson, it is going to be quite entertaining.
As this will be Blake Shelton’s last season on the show, his fans along with fans of the show will be watching eagerly.
