The setlist for Taylor Swift’s upcoming The Eras Tour has officially been announced, which means Taylor Swift fans across the globe are in for a real treat.
She will embark on the tour in mid-March, performing songs from every stage of her career, from her self-titled debut album to her latest release, which will be featured on tour.
Setlist For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
As we approach the end of the fifth year, we’re about to witness the start of Taylor Swift’s brand-new world tour. It has been announced that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour will begin on March 17th in Glendale, Arizona, where she will perform songs from all 10 of her albums during the show.
Four new albums have been released since Taylor embarked on her last world tour in 2018, and two re-recorded albums since then. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights have yet to be toured, meaning there will be over 200 songs available for her to choose from as part of The Eras Tour setlist.
Taylor will likely perform about 19 or 20 songs at the show, depending on how much time he has to perform. As with Taylor’s Rep tour, there could also be medleys, mashups, and interludes on the setlist that provide fans with a glimpse of some of her beloved songs that don’t make it to the setlist as full performances and aren’t included in the setlist.
How Many Songs Will Taylor Swift Perform During The Eras Tour?
It will be interesting to see what Taylor has in store for her fans on March 17th, but fans can expect a mixture of chart-topping songs, lead singles, fan favorites, and outright bangers.
Taylor has been rehearsing in Arizona ahead of opening night, according to TikTok videos posted on March 5th. Here are some songs that have been played so far inside the stadium:
- ‘Anti-Hero’
- ‘Cruel Summer
- ‘Shake It Off
- ‘Daylight’ (Spoken word outro)
Others report ‘Bejewelled’ or ‘Out of the Woods/Question…?’ were also heard. Among the tour classics are ‘Fearless,’ ‘Love Story,’ ‘Long Live,’ ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,’ ‘Blank Space,’ and ‘Style.’ In addition, songs such as ‘Enchanted,’ ‘Mean,’ ‘Delicate,’ ‘You Belong With Me,’ ‘Should’ve Said No,’ ‘Wildest Dreams,’ and ‘…Ready For It? ‘ may also include in the list.
There are several new songs she has not yet performed on tour, including ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version), ‘Cruel Summer,’ ‘Lover,’ ‘August,’ ‘Betty,’ ‘No Body, No Crime,’ ‘Anti-Hero’, ‘Bejewelled’ and ‘Karma.’
She is also likely to perform a different setlist on each leg. While most of the setlist will remain the same, there may be some differences between the UK and European shows. The same applies if she tours Asia, South America, and Oceania. Of course, some favorites will be cut together with many incredible songs in her catalog.
Each Show Might Feature A Surprise Song From Taylor
Taylor may also perform one surprise song at each show, just like her other tours, and she may do so much like her other tours.
During the Rep tour, Taylor mixed in a few throwbacks, mashups, and album tracks from her new album. Some of the tracks from the album, such as ‘Teardrops on my Guitar,’ ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,’ ‘Haunted,’ ‘Babe,’ ‘Better Man,’ ‘Forever & Always,’ ‘Wonderland’, and ‘Starlight’ could be heard on the album.
Depending on what makes it into the official set list, Taylor’s list of surprise songs could include plenty of underrated fan favourites like ‘Clean,’ ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts, and ‘State of Grace.’
This tour promises to be an exciting journey through the different eras of Taylor Swift’s music career and a chance to experience her music in a live setting. So get ready for an unforgettable night with the one and only Taylor Swift. Stay tuned for more updates on the tour.
