Netflix orders ‘Stranger Things’ animated series
The Stranger Things universe is expanding! On Monday, April 10, 2023, the streaming platform announced that an animated series based on the popular show is in the works. The untitled series will be produced by the Stranger Things creators, The Duffer Brothers alongside Eric Robles on behalf of Flying Bark Productions and Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen through 21 Laps.
In a statement issued, The Duffer Brothers said, “We’ve always dreamed of an animated ‘Stranger Things’ in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realized has been absolutely thrilling.”
Matt and Ross Duffer further added, “We couldn’t be more blown away by what Eric Robles and his team have come up with — the scripts and artwork are incredible, and we can’t wait to share more with you! The adventure continues…”
The animated version of the popular show has been in development for some time. As of this moment, it’s not unknown when will Stranger Things animated spin-off series be released on Netflix. Till then, the fans can wait for the fifth and final season of the show.

Season 4 of the show Stranger Things dropped on Netflix in May 2022. The fourth season of the series was full of shocking deaths and many twists and turns.
