Spirited: Apple Originals Bringing The Perfect Christmas Movie this Holiday Season

It’s that time of year again when we all get to show off our Christmas spirit by watching classic Christmas movies and singing along to Christmas carols.

But what if you weren’t able to watch your favourite movie or listen to your favourite song? What if you were trapped in a room and could only hear the sounds of other people having fun? Well, thankfully, Ryan Reynolds has got you covered.

Apple Originals has blessed us with the perfect Christmas movie to welcome the Holiday season with full spirit. The production network is bringing the classic Christmas comedy from the books of Charles Dickens called “A Christmas Carol”.

Despite being published almost 200 years ago, Charles Dickens’ famous “A Christmas Carol” is still as popular today as ever. Why? It’s been adapted dozens of times to create vintage cinema masterpieces. What makes this version so different from the rest?

Well, the answer is the superstars’ Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds who will take us on a comedic ride this holiday season.

Apple Original Films just released a new teaser trailer for the holiday comedy, Spirited, starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds. Check out this article to know everything.

Apple Originals Bringing The Perfect Christmas Movie this Holiday

we should call the latest film adaption of this popular Christmas story, a delightful piece. Reynolds will be playing Clint Briggs, a younger, funnier version of old Ebenezer Scrooge, while Ferrell will be portraying the ghost of Christmas Present.

The project is an original that will premiere on the Apple TV+ service. It was created by Maximum Effort and Gloria Sanchez Productions, with Sean Anders and John Morris working together as co-writers.

Trailer Highlighting A Playful Spin Off Of The Popular Christmas Carol

Apple TV+ just dropped a preview for their upcoming holiday musical movie, Spirited. Ferrell plays the Ghost of Christmas Present: as he’s telling a young family about their future, Briggs switches places with him and gets to hear his own story.

The trailer is set to the rhythm of an animated “tap sequence”, with the sequence becoming a reality as Reynolds and Ferrell — who are both well-known for their comedic sketches — observe one another in what appears to be a dance-off.

Both actors eventually comment on how they were following each other’s moves in perfect sync, which according to them was the ultimate sign that it was not planned.

It does not have a lot of plot but we got a very brief glimpse into what this story will be about. Looking forward to the in-depth version!

Definitely gives off the same vibe as A Christmas Carol. The trailer is filled with more visually magical — and hilarious — musical sequences, promising to ‘raise your spirits. You can also see glimpses of co-star Octavia Spencer throughout.

Alongside Reynolds and Ferrel, the film brings Octavia Spencer, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on November 11th and on AppleTV from November 18th.
