we should call the latest film adaption of this popular Christmas story, a delightful piece. Reynolds will be playing Clint Briggs, a younger, funnier version of old Ebenezer Scrooge, while Ferrell will be portraying the ghost of Christmas Present.

Trailer Highlighting A Playful Spin Off Of The Popular Christmas Carol
Apple TV+ just dropped a preview for their upcoming holiday musical movie, Spirited. Ferrell plays the Ghost of Christmas Present: as he’s telling a young family about their future, Briggs switches places with him and gets to hear his own story.
The trailer is set to the rhythm of an animated “tap sequence”, with the sequence becoming a reality as Reynolds and Ferrell — who are both well-known for their comedic sketches — observe one another in what appears to be a dance-off.
Both actors eventually comment on how they were following each other’s moves in perfect sync, which according to them was the ultimate sign that it was not planned.
It does not have a lot of plot but we got a very brief glimpse into what this story will be about. Looking forward to the in-depth version!
Definitely gives off the same vibe as A Christmas Carol. The trailer is filled with more visually magical — and hilarious — musical sequences, promising to ‘raise your spirits. You can also see glimpses of co-star Octavia Spencer throughout.

Alongside Reynolds and Ferrel, the film brings Octavia Spencer, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock.
