Congratulations are in order Pia Wurtbach and Jeremy Jauncey!! The Actress and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is finally engaged to her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey after 2 years of being together.

Pia Wurtzbach announced the news of her engagement on Friday by sharing a reel on Instagram captioned “We found the perfect place to celebrate and tell you guys…💍”
The reel featured Pia showing off her diamond ring, alongside a glimpse into their vacation in Amanpulo which is an exclusive resort in Palawan. The beaches and the skies looked great and the reel even revealed how the proposal happened on a yacht.
For many days the couple has been dropping hints about their engagement to their followers on Instagram and this reel confirmed all of it.
Hints such as “Sunsets in the Philippines are better than anywhere else in the world. Especially at Amanpulo when you have something to celebrate.” captioned picture was shared by Jauncey, founder and CEO of Beautiful Destinations, on his Instagram.
Further, it was on Friday afternoon only when Pia posted videos of them on the adventure island stating “We’ve been celebrating for a month straight but this guy doesn’t run out of surprises…He knows what I like.”
The followers could take up these hints and presumed that the couple has been engaged for a month now and the announcement was made recently.
Later on, Frida Wurtzbach took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of them toasting captioned as “Cheers to? Forever?”

Pia and Jeremy met back in 2019 at an event in the UK. Although the two were aware of each other they got to personally know each other only at the event in covet Garden. Pia even shared in an interview in 2021 how his friendly nature won her over “What I liked about him was that he was super friendly and it didn’t feel like he was hitting on me. I was trying to play it cool. But in truth, I was just so struck with how handsome he was.”
Eventually, this fateful conversation at Covet garden evolved into coffee dates and dinners and soon the two were found celebrating New Year’s Eve together. Pia even shared how she was spending her Christmas with her family in the UK while Jeremy was there in Scotland with his family and this resulted in them meeting again.
Finally. Pia and Jeremy confirmed their relationship in a magazine feature of Philippine Tatler’s June 2020 issue.
Since the confirmation, the couple has been keeping the followers updated with stunning pictures of their trip together. They travelled to Santorini, Maldives and Switzerland over the two years of being dating. With all the places the two travelled together it seems as if the Philippines will surely remain their special piece of paradise forever as it marked the beginning of their new life.
