Trailer Revealing Gruesome Details Behind The Milwaukee Cannibal
The new trailer for Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s The Jeffrey Dahmer Files gives us an even more gruesome and terror-filled look into the man who killed 17 people between 1978 and 1991.
In it, we get a better look at Nash’s character as well as Peters’ transformation into his famous role—which was so convincing that he received death threats after filming wrapped up.
Murphy and Brennan set out to tell the victims’ stories in a way that respects them by focusing on their lives rather than Dahmer’s gruesome crimes.
Peters revealed during his one-on-one with Netflix that they will not go into detail about what happened during those murders because this is not a film about gore or insanity—it’s about understanding who these people were as human beings.”
Instead, the writers hope to explain why Dahmer was able to kill so many people without being caught sooner—because he targeted other gay men and people of colour whom police were less likely to care about.
We see Peters playing Dahmer, the man who murdered 17 people and confessed to dismembering his victims’ bodies—all of which were found in his apartment.
Nash is set to portray Glenda Cleveland, one of Dahmer’s neighbours: she alerted police about strange things happening at the apartment building after smelling a terrible odour coming from inside Dahmer’s unit.

The series is premiering on September 21st on Netflix.
