Prime Video Singapore has already announced that the second season of Island is coming on 24th February 2023. This is exciting news for the fans as the release date is not very far away. How Did Season 1 End?
At the end of episode 6, Van saves Won Miho from Yohan’s brother. However, Yohan ends up killing his brother at the end of the episode to free him from Lust Devil’s possession. Van also meets Goong Tan after a long time. However, this meeting was not friendly enough.
Goong Tan offers to join his brother in an effort to kill Wonjewong’s reincarnation Won Miho. But he refused to join him. On the other hand, Won Miho finally decides to follow his past life’s path by awakening herself.
But the surprise came at the end of the episode when the scene shows Yeom-Ji assisting Goong Tan for the very first time. Yeom-Ji’s betrayal was first teased in episode 3 and it now confirms all the suspecting fans.
The drama is a joint effort of TVING and Amazon Prime Video and is one of the most highly anticipated Korean Dramas of 2023.
The official plot synopsis on Prime Video suggests: “Evil took its first step to destroy the world. On the mysterious island of Jeju Island, the gateway to this, “Van,” a mix of human and monster, “Won Mi-ho,” the one in the center of fate, and “Johan,” the one who exercises God’s power, come together. When and where to watch season 2 of “Island”?
Island is available to watch on the streaming platform, TVING in South Korea. But Amazon Prime Video has the streaming rights of the show for global audiences.
Season 2’s first 2 episodes will be released together on Friday, February 24 at 12 pm on Korean Standard time. Later the English-subbed version of the drama will be available on Amazon Prime with English subtitles for global viewers around 12.30 pm KST.
