Jen Shah will report to jail on Friday with new ink on her body. As part of her preparation for the start of her six-and-a-half-year prison sentence for wire fraud, the former “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star got two new tattoos a few days before she was scheduled to have them done.

On the top right-hand side of her left forearm, Shah, 49, has the word “Keiki” tattooed across it, the Hawaiian term for “baby” or “child”. In the same way, she also got the names of Sharrieff Shah, her husband, Sharrieff Shah Jr. and Omar. All inked on the bottom of her right arm represent her love for them.

On February 17, Jen Shah Will Report To Prison

She was charged with running an illegal nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted thousands of people, mostly the elderly, on an ongoing basis in March 2021. As much as the reality TV star maintained her innocence throughout the months leading up to her trial in July 2022, she changed her plea from guilty to avoid a trial at the last minute.

According to Jen’s lawyer, Priya Chaudry, who spoke with Page Six about Shah’s fate in early January, the actress profoundly regrets her mistakes and hopes to repair the damage she has caused. Nevertheless, two weeks later, she posted to her Instagram Story a cryptic message that referred to the truth, which she deleted immediately after posting it.

“There’s something about a woman with a loud mind that sits in silence, smiling knowing she can crush you with the truth,” was the quote that was read. Jen has made it clear that she won’t share any details of the situation with Andy Cohen despite appearing to have much to say about it. Even though Jen was imprisoned for over five years, she will have to pay restitution of $6.5 million and enter into a mental health treatment program after she is released.

An Overview Of Jen Shah’s Fraud Case

It was in Utah that Shah and one of her assistants, Stuart Smith, were arrested during the production of season 2 of the reality show in 2021. Their subsequent arrests led to them being charged with wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to launder money in connection with the telemarketing business.

The fraud case has continued to develop since Shah was arrested in July 2022. When she appeared in a New York court, Shah changed her plea from “not guilty” to “guilty.”. A conspiracy to commit wire fraud and a conspiracy to commit money laundering was charged against Shah and Smith as part of their telemarketing conspiracy and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

As a result of Shah’s role in orchestrating a fraud scheme, she has been sentenced to 78 months in prison (6.5 years) as of Jan. 6, 2023. Shah read a statement in court that apologized for her actions in the courtroom in New York. “I am sorry. My actions have hurt innocent people,” she told Inner City Press’ Matthew Russell Lee in an interview published over the weekend. “I want to apologize by saying I am doing all I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.”

As of Feb. 17, Shah will begin serving her sentence. Shah will serve her sentence somewhere in the “Texas region” even though Judge Stein could not specify the location during the sentencing hearing. Let us know what you think about the scam, as we will keep you posted on the latest developments regarding the case.
