Doctor Strange Dives into the Multiverse of Madness in a Brand New Trailer

Multiverse, Magic, Madness

Marvel just won’t stop giving us Christmas presents this year and we are not complaining at all!

Marvel Entertainment just released a magical trailer of the upcoming sequel of Doctor Strange which is titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And let me tell you it is downright trippy!

Multiverse is Expanding!

Here is the official trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:

The multiverse of Madness is the official sequel of the 2016s Doctor Strange movie which gave us the first introduction of Doctor Strange beautifully portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch. Or was it Buttercup Cumbersnatch?

Doctor Strange recently appeared in SpiderMan: Far from Home where he tampered with the fabric of reality. And the upcoming movie follows after that incident.

The concept of multiverse started in WandaVision, got slightly bigger in Loki, and exploded in SpiderMan NWH will now unfold its wings on the biggest screen of Doctor Strange movie.

Evil Strange and Mordo Return

In the trailer, we get our official look at the live screen adaptation of Evil Strange who recently appeared in an episode of What If…?  And I am really really hoping they are the same thing!

We also witness the return of Karl Mordo. In the last Doctor Strange movie, we saw Mordo leaving the sanctum with his belief in bringing balance to the universe by tracking down rogue sorcerers and stealing their abilities. It is still unknown whether he will be the villain or not.

We also see the return of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen. We lastly saw Wanda in WandaVision. She looks remorseful about the Westview incident when Strange approaches her and tells him: “I made mistakes and people were hurt”. TO which Strange replies: “I’m not here to talk about Westview – I need your help. What do you know about the Multiverse?”

This debunks the popular theory many suggested that Wanda will be the main villain of the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but it seems not to be the case. We also get our very first look at Wanda in Scarlet Witch costume which looks so dope and comic accurate!

Release Date for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

If you stuck around to the end of SpiderMan: No Way Home, you would have realized that the trailer of the Doctor Strange sequel was originally released as an end-credit scene in the movie.

The movie is set to hit the theatres on May 6 2022 all over the world.

With so many big shots showing up in the movie and many new appearances of characters like America Chavez and a giant eyeball monster, the movie is surely going to blow our minds with its story and visually stunning scenes!
