Sonam Kapoor confessed to stalking co-star Akshay Kumar in a behind the scenes video from their upcoming film, “Padman.” The fashionista told Kumar how she drove around Lokhandwala looking for him when she was younger when she heard he was shooting for a film in the area!

Kapoor even had a poster of Kumar on her wall as a kid, how cute is that? The behind the scenes videos of “Padman” are hilarious, Kumar is seen teasing co-star Radhika Apte and testing her Khiladi knowledge to see how big a fan she was. How much does she really know? Watch the video to find out!

The behind the scenes videos are a riot, check out this video of Kumar teasing Kapoor about her international wardrobe. He teasingly says she’s from Paris because of her fashion, while he is from Punjab and Apte is from Pune. They are the “three P’s.” He jokes about assistants carrying the long trains of her gowns on the red carpet. With such great chemistry and camaraderie behind the scenes, it’s bound to reflect well in the film itself.

“Padman” is the highly anticipated biggest release of 2018. The film’s plot is based on a fictionalized account of Padmashir Arunchalam Muruganatham, the man who changed the views on female hygiene in India with his low-cost sanitary napkin. The film is actually based on a book written by Kumar’s wife, Twinkle Khanna.

Kumar plays Lakshmi, a newly married welder from a rural village. He’s surprised to know his wife uses an unhygienic cloth during her period, his love and concern for her motivate him to keep trying to create a low-cost pad. However, his antics lead to his wife leaving him and his village banishing him.

A unique story that has the potential to educate as well as entertain, “Padman” releases January 26th. Kumar is on a roll with his socially conscious films, first “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” costarring Bhumi Padnekar, and now “Padman.” Looks like our action comedy hero is taking on a new role, social superhero.
