David Paid $1.4 Million in Divorce Settlement with Shannon Beador

David got married to Shannon in 2000. The couple welcomed a daughter in 2002 and twin daughters in 2004. However, the marriage went through trouble during the filming of the first season of RHOC, and the two tried to resolve their issues in front of the camera while also raising their kids and managing work.

Shannon then filed for divorce in December 2017 after reports of David having an affair with a woman named Nicole McMackin surfaced. The divorce was finalized in April 2019 with the former couple agreeing to share the custody of their daughters. David was asked to pay $1.4 million to his ex-wife in the divorce settlement. He also agreed to pay $7,065 in monthly spousal support and $2,935 in monthly child support to Shannon.

Beador has also made significant investments in real estate and properties. In 2012, David, along with his then-wife Shannon, moved into an eco-friendly 13,306 square-foot mansion that comprised seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

The house was touted as unique since it was made with non-toxic materials. In 2013, the couple listed the property for approximately $16 million. In February 2016, they relisted the mansion for $10.898 million and eventually sold it two months later for $9.05 million. The mansion is said to be four-storeyed, with an indoor basketball court, swimming pool, golf course, elevator, piano room and a guest house.
