Sometimes it’s hard to remember that your favorite stars are just like you. They, too, celebrate the holidays at home with family, lighting diya, catching up with extended family and eating loads of food.

This year Kangana Ranaut was making rangoli with her family on the special holiday. Her sister Rangoli posted snaps of the two in matching red outfits:

The Bachchans usually have a spectacular Diwali event but this year they kept it a quiet affair due to the death of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father.

Check out Big Bachchan’s daughter and granddaughter twinning at Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla Diwali party with family and friends. Navya Naveli Nanda is absolutely stunning, even though her mother didn’t make a career in Bollywood, maybe this young starlet will try her hand.

Many others also celebrated with their families before partying it up as well. Just take a look at the sweet Behl family. Sonali Bendre Behl, looks lovely with her husband and adorable young son.

The Kumars looked lovely at their Diwali pooja, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are couple goals, as usual. Twinkle Khanna even wrote how her outfit and the paper flowers in her hair are recycled.

The Devgn’s had a sweet Diwali with their kids. How cute are Nysa and Yug! Ajay Devgn’s “Golmaal Again!!!” released this Diwali as well. Let’s hope the sequel is as successful as the previous films in the series!

It looks like Bollywood’s royal family spent time together before heading out to celebrate with friends. Check out these snaps Soha Ali Khan Pataudi posted on social media. Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan look so adorable in their matching kurtas.

B-town’s latest adorable family, the young Kapoor clan looked stunning, especially mommy Mira and baby Misha’s matching peacock blue lehengas. Check out Shahid Kapoor’s latest snaps of his lovely ladies.

Diwali is always the brightest and most beautiful when it’s spent with friends and family. We hope you all had a happy Diwali!
