1“Padmavat” Creators Release a New Song

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavat” is currently the biggest hit of the year, and the magic of the film isn’t over yet! The creators have just released a new song titled “Nainowale Ne” which portrays the romance between Maharawal Ratan Singh and Rani Padmavati played by Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The film also starred Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khijli.

The beautiful song is sung by Neeti Mohan and written by Sidharth and Garima. It’s a touching love song that has already blazed to the top of the charts.

2Jacqueline Fernandez Recreates Madhuri’s “Ek Do Teen”

The stunning Jacqueline Fernandez pays homage to the dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit-Nene with a recreation of Dixit-Nene’s hit song, “Ek Do Teen.”

Fernandez item girl’d it up for Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s “Baaghi 2.” She even rocks a similar outfit to Dixit-Nene’s iconic look. Not only that, from the looks of the video she even takes on some of Dixit-Nene’s dance moves from the original! Though no one can hold a candle to the skills of Dixit-Nene, Fernandez gives her best attempt and unfortunately, she’s facing a lot of criticism for her work. However, longtime friend Salman Khan came to her rescue with some positive words.

“Baaghi 2” is the sequel to “Baaghi” and the new story follows a hardened army officer on the hunt to save the young daughter of his college love. It promises to be an action-packed adventure releasing March 30.

3Is “Bang Bang” 2 on the way?

Reports say that Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif may return for a sequel to their steamy hit “Bang Bang!” The original film was a remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz’s 2010 action comedy, “Knight and Day.” News has it, Fox Star Hindi officially titled the sequel, “Bang Bang Reloaded.” The duo has given us steamy hits like “Bang Bang” and “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” can’t wait to see these two fierce actors back on screen together.

4Hichki Gets Immense Bollywood Love

Rani Mukherji’s film “Hichki” is out and many B-town stars are showing their love for the film on social media.

The film is a heart-warming story about a woman with Tourette’s syndrome who passionately wants to become a teacher. She doesn’t let her disability get in her way.

5Varun Dhawan’s “October”

The trailer for Varun Dhawan’s “October” just released and it shows us a completely different side of the actor. It’s not another masala filled romance with larger than life acting. Dhawan shows some skill in this very real story about love.

Dhawan plays Dan, a carefree 21-year-old working at a hotel. He is blunt and bold, his personality is often at ends with another hotel employee, Shiuli. This unlikely pair is thrown together due to a tragedy and Dan finds himself in caring for Shiuli in ways he never thought he would. More than love, Dan discovers more about himself. The film is set to release on April 13th.

6Kriti Sanon to Romance Akshay Kumar

Last week we confirmed that Kriti Sanon was cast in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s “Panipat” and now the actress will be romancing Akshay Kumar in next film in the “Housefull” series! Director Sajid Khan is back with “Housefull 4” the cast not only includes Kumar and Sanon but Bobby Deol as well. This is the first time Sanon and Kumar will be set opposite each other. After taking on socially relevant films, Kumar is returning to comedy!

“It’s been a while since I have done a full-on comedy film. It’s a genre that I really enjoy working in,” Kumar told leading tabloids. “I am looking forward to that film. Housefull 4 is going to be like a three-month vacation. For me, it’s like a reunion of old friends.”

7Urmila Matondkar Returns

The stunning Urmila Matondkar is back on the big screen! This diva brings her stunning dance moves to the song “Bewafa Beauty” in “Blackmail.” The track is a blend of mischief and humor which is reflected in singer Pawni Pandey’s voice. The song was composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics were written, Amitabh Bhattacharya.

There was actually no songs in the film but this track weaved into the film so well director Abhinay Deo decided to add it.

“Urmila is a massive star. She is not an item girl,” Deo told media about his choice to include Matondkar. “We wanted a performer, someone who had a tremendous star value but hadn’t been seen on the silver screen for a while now. From all the names we came up with, I believe we picked the best. She fit the bill perfectly. She is gorgeous and incredible as a dancer. It ended up being a perfect match for the song and the film.”

8Salman Khan Drops Posters for “Race 3”

Salman Khan has taken to social media to promote his latest film, “Race 3.” He has been releasing one poster featuring a cast member on Twitter. Besides Khan, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem, and Daisy Shah.

The next flick in this series promises to recreate the fast-paced action, high suspense, intense romance, and unexpected twists of the original. The cast looks fierce in their posters and currently, they’re still wrapping up shooting in Abu Dhabi. The film is set to release this summer on Eid.

Interesting side note, Khan re-shared a video legendary actor Sylvester Stallone posted about his new film, “Creed II” and the “Rocky” star also shared a “Race 3” poster featuring Deol as well!

9Rani Mukherji’s Open Letter for her 40th Birthday

Rani Mukherji released an open letter for her 40th birthday where she speaks about her career and female empowered films. She speaks of how difficult it is for an actress to keep working after marriage, and after children. The rani of hearts is working to actively break the stereotypes people in the industry have regarding female actresses.

10Vidya Balan, to Make Her Tollywood Debut?

Though it’s not confirmed as of yet, the news is that Vidya Balan will be cast as the wife of Balakrishna in his biopic. Sources have said that Balan has some doubts about the script and the filmmakers are addressing them now. If Balan takes on the NTR biopic, this will be her Tollywood debut. The film is directed by Teja and revolves around the life of Balakrishna, the former Andhra CM with a larger than life image.

11Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra had their Bollywood debut together in the hit film “Ishaqzaade” and after six years the duo is back for “Namastey England.” The film is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s film “Namastey London.”

Kapoor and Chopra both posted this Holi inspired snap with the line “with love Param and Jasmeet” in both their captions. The couple has been shooting for the film these past two months and from the social media snaps, it looks like they’ve been having fun shooting in London and Punjab. The film will release in December 2018.

Besides “Namastey England,” the duo will also star in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming film “Sandeep Aur Pink Farar.”

12Shah Rukh Khan Replaces Aamir Khan in “Salute”

Aamir Khan is putting all his time and energy towards his next project, “Mahabarata” which is why has had to step down from his role as Indian astronaut, Rakesh Sharma in the biopic of his life, titled “Salute.”

However, Khan encouraged his good friend Shah Rukh Khan to take on the role as he strongly feels it’s a worthwhile script. According to reports, Shah Rukh is all in on this project, and he’s even taking help from Aamir to prepare for the role. Shah Rukh will start shooting for “Salute” after wrapping up his film, “Zero” in April.
