Not long ago, a TikTok user named @petartbyandrea who is a New York-based Latina illustrator shared a video about a dog adoption event on October 30, 2022. And that’s how we got to know about the little fella Bob.
Many people adopted a lot of doggos, Bob was left feeling inadequate and insecure. Not many peeps gave the cute puppy attention. In the clip, Jack Stauber’s song Oh Klahoma played in the background meanwhile she painted a somber picture of the dog. Bob was named after a fictional superhero from Disney Pixar’s The Incredibles.
Andrea’s video went viral on TikTok
In the blink of an eye, the video posted by Andrea went viral on the platform, and the rescue was flooded with applications for Bob the dog. She put all the details regarding where people can apply to adopt Bob in the caption of the TikTok video.
 “He is the sweetest pup, 3 Y/O, very chill, and [the] perfect size for an NYC apartment available on @Badass Animal Rescue,” she wrote alongside the video. The Brooklyn-based  rescue organization “rescues the most vulnerable dogs regardless of their breed, age, size, and medical history from underserved shelters and communities in the United States.”
As of this moment, the video has been viewed more than 6.5 million times. Andrea also went on to reveal more details about the sweet little dog named Bob, on social media. She stated, “Bob weighs 10 pounds, is very timid, requires much patience and a quiet living environment, and above all, he loves to love.”
On the other hand, Bob’s foster mom, Julie Zeilinger, further added that he’s “still working on house training (he’s pee pad trained) and hates the crate.”
Earlier this month, Andrea shared the latest update on her TikTok account. She revealed that around 40 people applied to adopt Bob. However the sweet mongrel “is still looking for his perfect match” (is Bob getting picky?), and we know Bob will soon find his forever home.
