Not long ago, a TikTok user grabbed the attention of the people after posting a video of what users have been referring to as ‘paper route.’ In the blink of an eye, TikTok user Adrian Peru’s video raked in multimillion views.
In the video shared, you can see that a stranger had stored heaps of cash under a grate lid outside his home. Soon after, it took the video-sharing platform TikTok by storm. TikTok star Adrian Peru finds wads of cash under a grate on the street
Since the time Adrian shared the video on TikTok, he has amassed somewhat around 150k followers on the platform. On September 26, 2023, Tuesday, he shared a video on TikTok that showed a plastic bag filled with wads of cash.
In the video which has been viewed more than 30 million times across different social media platforms, Peru can be seen opening a lid which stored the money. In the TikTok video, he can be heard saying, “What the f**k is this?”
When we shed some light on the plastic bag, it contained a box of pills, a wallet, money, and a notebook. While talking how about weird the scenario seemed to be, he opened the notebook which had the name Georgia written inside it alongside a photograph of an aeroplane.
Adrian also found a couple of notes of cash inside the notebook. Later on, in the video, he stumbled upon a bundle of what looked like human hair which left the TikTok star very scared. As the video progressed, he also found a paper that read, “Call Hugh, Georgia.”
In the TikTok video, Peru also mentioned that he left the plastic bag in its original place as he didn’t want to get any bad energy. Since then, the netizens have shared their thoughts on the incident on social media.
One social media user commented, “Put that back it’s a paper route (i don’t know what a paper route is).” Another user chimed in, “Put that back. That’s a paper route. Lol They’ll find it.”
A user went on to say, “That’s a paper route, put it back or they find you.” Followed by a fourth user who penned, “Oh god’s paper route money………..Put it back!”

For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, that paper route money is simply money that is left in secret places so that people don’t get caught with it. In addition to this, paper route money can be described as a nefarious activity, specifically those involved in criminal activities or drug deals.
Later on, Adrian revealed that the cops visited him and he showed them the plastic bag in its original form. They reportedly took his shoes for some unknown reason. He said, “Those are my work shoes bro, I haven’t had those shoes for a whole day already, I don’t know if and when I’m getting them back.”
