Savannah Chrisley was thrown off a Southwest flight for being an ‘unruly passenger’
Not long ago, Savannah Chrisley, the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley took to her Instagram page to share more details about the incident with her fans. The flight incident took place when she was trying to board a flight at New York’s LaGuardia airport on Thursday. She was thrown off a Southwest flight for being an ‘unruly passenger.’
The incident happened on Thursday, April 20, 2023, when the reality TV star was headed to Tennessee from New York. The flight attendant “threw her off the flight” for refusing to check her carry-on bag.
In a video shared on her Instagram Story that zoomed in on a man at her gate, the 25-year-old said, “Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it — the worst thing in the entire world.”
The reality TV star further added, “This man right here … um, awful. I went to board my flight to get on and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, ‘Okay, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can’t make it fit and if not, I’ll check it.’”
Although the employee didn’t stop there, and shot Savannah down once again, and even described her as an ‘unruly passenger,’ for pushing back. Soon after, a pilot entered the picture and tried to resolve the situation by allegedly telling the flight attendant to “calm down” and “that he was going to find a place” for her bag on board.
She went on to say, “The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person in the airline — and said, ‘Stay out of it … ma’am you’re not flying on this flight.’”
However, Chrisley admitted to calling the flight attendant an “a—hole,” she even mentioned that she did her best to change his mind by explaining that she had to get back to her 10-year-old niece Chloe.
She recently obtained full custody of her niece Chloe after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were sent to prison for a combined 19 years for tax fraud. She further added, “And well, the Southwest attendant said, ‘I don’t care.’ So Southwest, you’re awful but not going to lie … your pilot was kinda hot.”
More details about the Southwest flight incident
Later on, Savannah came back on her Instagram Story to confess some other details from the argument. She said, “In case another story comes out after he told me he didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old … I told him that I hope he finds a better purpose for his life. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it, but the devil came over me and Jesus did not come out.”
Although Chrisley’s airport saga didn’t end over there. While waiting for another flight, she became focused on the “real good-looking pilot.” Soon after, she opened a Q&A box for her Instagram followers.
A social media user suggested, she “find the hot pilot,” which she seemed pretty keen on. She even asked her Instagram followers to share their own crappy flight stories. As of this moment, Southwest Airlines have not made an official comment on the whole matter.
Let us tell you, Savannah ended up getting another flight. This time, she got an entire row to herself on her flight back home. She reached home somewhat around 2 a.m.
