Savannah Chrisley Reveals She was Thrown Off Southwest Flight for Being an ‘Unruly Passenger’

Savannah Chrisley is bashing Southwest Airlines for calling her an ‘unruly passenger’ after getting involved in an argument with one of the employees. She recently spilled the beans on the entire incident on social media.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum mentioned that the whole incident happened when she was on her way from New York back home to Tennessee on Thursday. Keep scrolling further to learn more details about the matter.

Savannah Chrisley was thrown off a Southwest flight for being an ‘unruly passenger’

Not long ago, Savannah Chrisley, the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley took to her Instagram page to share more details about the incident with her fans. The flight incident took place when she was trying to board a flight at New York’s LaGuardia airport on Thursday. She was thrown off a Southwest flight for being an ‘unruly passenger.’

The incident happened on Thursday, April 20, 2023, when the reality TV star was headed to Tennessee from New York. The flight attendant “threw her off the flight” for refusing to check her carry-on bag.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story that zoomed in on a man at her gate, the 25-year-old said, “Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it — the worst thing in the entire world.”

The reality TV star further added, “This man right here … um, awful. I went to board my flight to get on and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, ‘Okay, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can’t make it fit and if not, I’ll check it.’”

Although the employee didn’t stop there, and shot Savannah down once again, and even described her as an ‘unruly passenger,’ for pushing back. Soon after, a pilot entered the picture and tried to resolve the situation by allegedly telling the flight attendant to “calm down” and “that he was going to find a place” for her bag on board.

She went on to say, “The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person in the airline — and said, ‘Stay out of it … ma’am you’re not flying on this flight.’”

However, Chrisley admitted to calling the flight attendant an “a—hole,” she even mentioned that she did her best to change his mind by explaining that she had to get back to her 10-year-old niece Chloe.

She recently obtained full custody of her niece Chloe after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were sent to prison for a combined 19 years for tax fraud. She further added, “And well, the Southwest attendant said, ‘I don’t care.’ So Southwest, you’re awful but not going to lie … your pilot was kinda hot.”

More details about the Southwest flight incident

Later on, Savannah came back on her Instagram Story to confess some other details from the argument. She said, “In case another story comes out after he told me he didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old … I told him that I hope he finds a better purpose for his life. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it, but the devil came over me and Jesus did not come out.”

Although Chrisley’s airport saga didn’t end over there. While waiting for another flight, she became focused on the “real good-looking pilot.” Soon after, she opened a Q&A box for her Instagram followers.

A social media user suggested, she “find the hot pilot,” which she seemed pretty keen on. She even asked her Instagram followers to share their own crappy flight stories. As of this moment, Southwest Airlines have not made an official comment on the whole matter.

Let us tell you, Savannah ended up getting another flight. This time, she got an entire row to herself on her flight back home. She reached home somewhat around 2 a.m.

Savannah is an actress by profession. Her acting credits include Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016), Royal Pains (2009), and Hollywood Game Night (2013). Along with this, she has also starred in her family’s reality TV shows including Chrisley Knows Best, and Growing Up Chrisley.

Is Savannah Chrisley single or committed?

It seems like Savannah Chrisley is off the dating market at the moment. While making a March 2023 appearance on the Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast, she said, “I am dating someone.” She didn’t reveal the identity of her new beau.

In the year 2019, Chrisley got engaged to her then-boyfriend, professional hockey player Nic Kerdiles. At that point, he proposed to his ladylove in front of family and friends at her home in Nashville.

During an interview with People magazine, the Growing Up Chrisley star talked about her special day. Then, she said, “[On the night of the engagement], Nic’s family was in town and my whole family was there and we were filming and I was furious. I was like, ‘The fact we’re filming on Christmas Eve is absolutely insane. I have people here.’ ”

She went on to say, “And then my mom said she forgot something at the store. So, I got in the car and went to the store with her. When we came back and we walked in the door, no one was there. Our best friend’s kid, Dylan, goes, ‘Hey, I think they’re looking for you outside.’ I walk outside and it’s all lit up! And Nic’s family is standing on one side, my family and friends are standing on the other, and then I just start freaking out because I’m like, ‘This isn’t really about to happen.’ ”

Chrisley continued, “And then, Nic looks at me and he was like, ‘Hey babe, will you come here?’ And you can tell you he was so nervous, and I was nervous. That was a long walk. I was like, ‘What is going down?’ And then, it’s funny. He tells me now that he forgot everything he wanted to say. He said he had this whole thing written out, and he was like, ‘I just forgot it all.’ And it was just so cute and everyone was crying. It was just such a cool moment. And the fact that both of our families were there made it even better.”

The pair met each other first on the photo and the video-sharing app Instagram and they started dating in November 2017. Sadly, the two of them broke their engagement the next year. Their romance came to an end in 2020.

At that time, Todd recounted, “I said, ‘Y’all met on social media. You had a blue checkmark, he had a blue checkmark. He was an athlete, you’re on television.’ Y’all put all your faith in that blue check mark because that meant both of you were verified, which meant there was no falsity going on … And I said, ‘Had you put as much faith in the word [of the Bible] and in God as you did that blue checkmark,’ I said, ‘Things may have ended differently.’ ”

In the last few years, Savannah has openly talked about the legal issues surrounding her parents. In an Instagram post shared in June 2022, she stated that she is “grateful in a weird way” for the “storm” her family faced. She added, “One thing I can say is that I am thankful for those around that choose to love and love hard…no matter how difficult it may be. ❤️”

Both of her parents were sentenced in November 2022 for tax evasion, wire fraud, and conspiracy bank fraud. Then, she posted a quote by pastor Kimberly Jones on her Instagram Story that read, “Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted and hated on him. Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking.”
