Greta Thunberg-Andrew Tate Twitter Spat: Activist Shuts the Media Personality Down with Epic Response

If you are on Twitter, chances are you would have seen the unusual combination of Greta Thunberg and Andrew Tate tending on the platform after the two got into an ugly spat on social media.

The Swedish environmental activist and the notorious media personality were recently seen taking jibes at each other with their tweets. Meanwhile, people on Twitter had a field day, with many siding with Thunberg. But how did the whole drama start, and where does it stand now? Read on to find out.

Greta Thunberg and Andrew Tate’s War of Words on Social Media

The fiasco began when Tate took an uninvited jibe at Thunberg on December 27. Mocking the teenager’s activism towards the environment, the 36 former pro kickboxer tweeted, “Hello @GretaThunberg I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.”

“Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” he added, posting a photo of himself fueling his Bugatti supercar.

Thunberg, who is known for shutting down trolls, decided to give it back to Tate with an epic reply. She had a savage response to his tweet and wrote, “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com”. Thunberg’s tweet went viral immediately, and Tweeple lauded the activist for her wit and no-nonsense attitude.

Tate’s Responds to Greta’s Tweet

A few hours after the 19 year old’s tweet exploded on Twitter, Andrew Tate once again tried to take shots at her. He posted a video of himself smoking a cigarette in a bathrobe and went on a rant, saying that Greta had revealed her own email id in her tweet. He also alleged that a ‘bot farm’ had made her tweet go viral.

“Greta’s email address is ‘I have small d*** energy’. Why would that be her own email? Strange. I don’t want to assume her gender, it’s 50/50, but it is what it is,” Tate said, adding, “I’m not actually mad at Greta, because she doesn’t realise she’s been programmed, she’s a slave of the matrix, she thinks she’s doing good.”

He wrote along with the video, “Thank you for confirming via your email address that you have a small penis @GretaThunberg. The world was curious. And I do agree you should get a life.”

Internet Sided with Greta

The majority of Twitter users sided with Greta and appreciated her for her befitting reply, while some were seen supporting Tate as well. “Hello. Yes, police please. I’d like to report the murder of Andrew Tate,” joked journalist James Copley.

“This is easily one of the Top 3 tweets I’ve ever seen. So in addition to all your incredible activism, Greta, thank you for this too,” tweeted a user, while another wrote to Tate, “She named, explained, and owned you in less than ten words. You used dozens to demonstrate your insecurity and lack of confidence.”

In a tweet addressed to Andrew, author Zack hunt wrote, “You’ve spent your whole life training to fight and just got your ass kicked in one tweet from a teenage girl. Well done.” A user also replied, “You really left that tweet up after the whole world watched you get owned by a girl, Tiny Tate.”
