Mark Margolis was born on November 26, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Fanya and Isidore Margolis. When we talk about his educational qualifications, back in the day, he went to Temple University. Soon after, he moved to New York City to study acting.

To gather more knowledge about acting, Mark first studied under Stella Adler at the Actors Studio, and later on, he trained with Lee Strasberg and Barbara Loden. Soon after, he kicked off his acting career on stage.

He made his acting debut in the year 1976 with The Opening of Misty Beethoven. He played an uncredited role in the film. In 1982, he debuted in the television world with the TV movie Muggable Mary, Street Cop.

Then, Mark was cast to play the role of Jimmy in the CBS series The Equalizer from 1985 to 1989. His standout role was Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He was last seen in the show Your Honor.
