Notorious special media influencer Andrew Tate has been in the news for quite some time now, especially after his arrest in December last year. The British-American internet personality is currently imprisoned in Romania, facing charges of ape and human trafficking.
At the beginning of March, reports surfaced that Tate was suffering from lung cancer. A CT scan report made its way to social media, which stated that the 36 year old needed to be treated by his doctor in Dubai. But is Andrew Tate actually suffering from lung cancer? Read on to find out.
CT Report Claims Andrew Tate has Lung Cancer
Last week, a medical report surfaced online which stated that a lesion had been detected in the upper right portion of one of Tate’s lungs. The document was reportedly collected in Dubai, where the influencer had traveled to undergo treatment.
Along with the scan report, there was also a letter from Tate’s doctor at the UAE’s King’s College Hospital, who asked for Tate’s return to Dubai, so his treatment could be continued. The letter says, “It is my professional medical recommendation that Andrew is urgently repatriated to the United Arab Emirates to undergo these medical investigations without delay.”

Tate’s Manager Confirms the Diagnosis
Following the leak, many people believed that the report could be fake, while others thought that it was a way for Tate to escape from Romanian authorities. However, on March 3, the influencer’s manager took to Instagram to confirm that he was indeed diagnosed with lung cancer.
“Ok a lot of people are asking me if Tate lung cancer story is true. Yes it’s true, I was the one driving with him to and from the hospitals in Dubai. I don’t have any more specifics to share. This tweet explains more,” the manager wrote in his Instagram story, confirming that Tate does have cancer.
The Influencer has been Locked Up in Romania Since December 2022
Tate, who sparked several controversies in the past for his misogynistic views, was detained by the Romanian police along with his brother Tristan in Bucharest in December 2022. The authorities had raided their home in the capital during a human trafficking and rape investigation.
The Tate brothers were reported to be a part of a ‘criminal gang’ of six people who recruited victims and forced them to perform in pornographic content. Since then, Andrews’s multiple appeals against the dentition have been rejected by a Romanian court, and he has been ordered to be kept in custody till March 29.
