Joshua Bassett is going on his first tour
The 21-year-old is all geared up to start his first tour. His first live extravaganza will kick off in Toronto on September 9, 2022. He will be visiting a total of 14 cities. He recently took to his Instagram to reveal more details about his forthcoming tour. The rock star posted a photo of himself lying on top of a couch while holding a microphone with all tour details below.

On his tour, the singer will swing through many iconic music venues such as New York City’s Bowery Ballroom and Los Angeles’ Troubadour, before heading to Europe. You will also see Lindsey Lomis and Stacey Ryan on his tour.
Joshua dropped his first song in early 2020
At the start of the year 2020, Bassett signed a contract with talent and entertainment company United Talent Agency and a recording contract with Warner Records. For those of you who are unaware, Bassett released his first single named Common Sense on various music streaming platforms on April 3, 2020.
Joshua’s second single Anyone Else saw the light of the day on July 16, 2020. He released his self-titled debut EP on March 12, 2021. The lead single of his EP Lie Lie Lie was dropped on January 14, 2021. In late 2021 he released three more songs, titled Set Me Free, Crisis, and Secret.
When did Joshua come into the spotlight?
Bassett was born on December 22, 2000, in Oceanside, United States, California. He is an actor and singer by profession. He sings and plays piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, and drums. He is best known for his performance as Ricky Bowen in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Joshua has five sisters and he was home-schooled. He was first introduced to musical theatre at the young age of 7 and nearly after a decade he got to play the part of Ricky in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Since then, he has appeared in around 30 musical productions.
The breakthrough point in his career came in the year 2018 when he played the recurring role of Aidan Peters on the Disney Channel television series Stuck in the Middle. He was cast as Ricky in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series at 17. As per the reports of Playbill, Bassett also co-wrote the series soundtrack Just for a Moment with Drivers License singer Olivia Rodrigo.
