Famous Ghanaian TikTok star Ahuofe, better known as ‘Ghana 2Pac,’ has died. The influencer passed away suddenly in his apartment in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region in Ghana, on Thursday, March 30.
The official cause of Ahuofe’s death has not been revealed yet. The social media star was known for making people laugh with his comic videos and for imitating rapper 2Pac. The news of his death has come as a shock to millions of his followers on TikTok.
TikTok Star Ahuofe ‘Ghana 2Pac’ Passes Away
The tragic news was first shared by rapper Jay Bahd of the Kumasi-based group Asakaa Boys. He shared a video of Ahuofe on Instagram and wrote, “Life is too short, rest well Ahuofe. You will be mourned always.”
Actor Kasule Douglas ‘Benda’ confirmed his demise by writing on Facebook: “News coming from Kumasi, Ghana says that that Tiktoker Ahoufe a.k.a Ghanaian Tupac Shakur has passed on. Ghanaian national TV has also confirmed the death of the Tik Tok sensation.”
The cause of Ahoufe’s death has not been revealed officially; however, multiple sources claim that the influencer died of a drug overdose. The postmortem report is awaited to confirm the cause. Just hours before his death, the internet personality had gone live on TikTok to interact with his fans.
Ahuofe had 4.1 Million Followers on TikTok
The influencer shot to wide fame in 2022 when his comic videos started going viral on TikTok. In most of his clips, he sported a bandana on his head like 2Pac and imitated the rapper. People were impressed by his comic and acting skills and soon started calling him ‘Ghana 2Pac.’
Over time, social media started making memes and stickers featuring Ahuofe’s face and expressions, and he became famous across platforms on Facebook and Instagram as well. At the time of his death, he had over 4 million followers, more than 40 million likes, and over 150 million views on the 217 videos posted on his TikTok page.
Fans Mourn Ahuofe’s Death
The social media star’s death has shocked his fans. Many are now mourning his death, while others are paying tributes to him for making them laugh in their low phases. “It is so painful when I heard that my legend Ahuofe Tupac don die.. I have been sad through out the whole day,” tweeted a follower.
Another wrote, “Other than Tupac, there was never a better fit for “hit ‘em up,” Ahuofe wore the shoes comfortably. RIP.” A user also commented, “Awww it is very sad and heartbreaking to hear that Ahuofe Tupac is dead. RIP Ahuofe 2pac.”

“Popular Ghanaian TikToker, Ahuofe (the African 2Pac) is dead. Life’s Just Too short. RIP Bro,” wrote a follower, while another tweeted, “RIP Ahuofe, Ghana 2pac, what a short reign and fame we miss you baby. it’s a cruel world.”
A fan penned, “Ahuofe Abrantie, also known as Tupac, the Ghanaian Tik Tok sensation, has apparently passed away. We lost another Tupac. Ahoufe passed away on Thursday in his Kumasi apartment.”
