The BAFTA Film Awards 2022 presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts are all set to be held on Sunday, March 13 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by Rebel Wilson. This year’s event is geared up to witness some of the biggest Hollywood names gracing the red carpet.
The 75th British Academy Film Awards also known as the BAFAs / BAFTAs will be honoring the best films as well as documentaries that got screened at British cinemas last year (2021).

Since the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (March 2020), this is the first time that the BAFTA Awards will be an in-person event.

The Baftas which got impacted due to the pandemic and were held virtually are once again making their in-person come back to the Royal Albert Hall this year in full glamour and glitz.

The nominations for the BAFTA awards have been announced on 3 February 2022.
Leading the pack of nominations is Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune with 11 nods. It is followed by Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog and Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast that received eight and six nods, respectively.
Nominees for the EE Rising Star Award which is the only award that is voted for by the British public were announced on Feb 1.
