Asta and Black Bulls are returning from their hiatus after Netflix announced the release date of Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King with a new stunning trailer.
The Black Clover is on a break after airing the 170th episode on 30th March 2021. The anime was one of the longest-running weekly anime with 140 episodes in 4 seasons since releasing its first episode on 3rd October 2017.
But after airing the 170th episode, there is still no news on Black Clover season 5. The anime was a shonen anime with magic, action, comedy, and fantasy theme shonen anime with a lot of mysteries and devils.
“Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King” Movie Coming on Netflix
A movie related to the Black Clover series is about to come out on Netflix on March 31st, 2023. The title has already been disclosed as “Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King”. The movie will not feature the main plot as it is more of a side story.
As for now, there are not many details about the plot. As for now, Asta and his comrades will be drawn into a battle when the former Wizard King, Conrad Leto, appears in front of them holding the “Emperor’s Sword”.
A new trailer has also confirmed Asta and Yuno will feature not just the Black Bulls, but also all the knights of the Clover Kingdom. The former Wizard King, Conrad Leto will be the primary antagonist of the film.
The movie will feature some new characters like Princia Funny Bunny, Milly Maxwell, and Edward Aberache. These characters have little chance to ever feature in the main plot of the anime. But many new updates regarding these characters will come out soon.
How Did the Season 4 End?
The anime is Yuki Tabata’s manga of the same name Black Clover featuring two orphans Asta and Yuno as the primary protagonists. Yuno is blessed with a lot of mana and has the potential to be the greatest Wizard King of all time with his five-leaf-grimoire.
On the hand, Asta manifests a dull sword with no magic. But his physical capabilities are enough to destroy any simple mage. It is later found out that Asta’s grimoire has a devil sealed within it. Our hero wields anti-magic from that devil that can cancel out any form of magic.
The 4th season ended with a major cliffhanger after Yami and William got kidnapped by the evil Dark Triad. All the Clover Kingdom’s knights went into massive training to power themselves up for having a massive face-off against the Dark Triad and the Spade Kingdom.
What to Expect from Black Clover Season 5?
The Black Clover 5th season is still in unknown status. The final arc of the manga is still ongoing. But the date may be announced later when the manga will be very near to its ending.
The season 5 will surely start with a huge bang. As for now, there will be a war between two kingdoms, and many big revelations are about to happen. The manga is at its final ark after returning from a long break. After disappointing a lot of fans in the previous arks, the final one has quite an intense and thrilling story. A lot of devils and other races will feature in season 5.
Even though Black Clover is the story of two protagonists, the mangaka puts more focus on Asta’s character development. After revealing Yuno’s origin connected to the royal family, there are a lot of stories to be told about Asta’s parentage.
No matter what, The Black Clover season 5 will come out soon for its massive popularity. It is even possible that fans get to know the season 5 release date at end of the movie.
