Worldle Game: Play the Geography Version of ‘Wordle’

Yes, we’re talking about ‘Wordle’ & it’s definitely not a typo. When the game Wordle first came out, we frequently mistook it for ‘Worldle‘, but now there’s a new game for all geography buffs called ‘Worldle.’

Josh Wardle created Wordle, an online word game. It’s everyone’s favorite. Josh is a developer who worked previously on Reddit’s Place and The Button social initiatives.

This simple word guessing game inspired the development of a slew of other games in the same category. In Wordle, players have six opportunities to predict a five-letter word accurately.

The colors of the letters fluctuate with each guess, indicating how near you are to accurately guess the word.

But how do you think ‘Worldle’ should be played? It’s very simple, and you’ll cherish it.

What is ‘Worldle’

The name, I believe, is fairly self-explanatory in terms of how the game should be played. Before we start into the game, here’s a link to Worldle.

If you go to the games website, you’ll see a geographical figure of a country and you’ll have to guess what it’s named.

If you’re a geography geek, you’ll be able to predict the country’s cut-out map shape. You will have six tries to guess the name of the country, the same as in the first game Wordle.

However, the games are made easier since each time you estimate the country, you will receive a percentage, which serves as a hint. The clue offers a suggestion as to how remote the country is.

How To Play ‘Worldle’?

Each guess must be a legitimate country or area. Following each estimate, you will be given the distance, orientation, and proximity between your answer and the target country.

Every day, a new Worldle will be available. And you have six guesses. The shown distances are the distances between the selected and target territory centers.

Even though they share a border, the calculated distance between the United States and Canada is around 2260 kilometers.

Example Of How To Play Worldle

Sometimes it can get a little confusing, let’s give you a simple example.

  1. For example, your guess Chile. Well, it’s 13557km away from the target nation, the target country is in the North-East direction, and you only have a 32% chance of being close because it is so far away.
  2. Your second-best guess is Finland and you’re getting closer. 3206 kilometers away, in the direction of the south-east, and with an 84 high probability.
  3. Lebanon, it’s your turn to guess the country. Congrats! Because Lebanon is the correct answer and it’s obviously a 100% guess.

The creator of Worldle is @teuteuf, and the website also claimed full credit for the initial game’s development.

Worldle was significantly influenced by Wordle, which was created by Josh Wardle (@powerlanguish).

It’s thrilling to see that many people are taking part in this game, even those who believed they weren’t good at geography and are surprised to learn that they can pick the country.

Have you tried playing ‘Worldle’? Because you should totally go check it out. You can also notify us in the comments area below how many attempts it took you to guess the correct country. Have fun playing Worldle now!

So we will say, ” 4 and 2 with map”. We use a map almost always and are really learning the countries and islands of the world! Good luck!
