The plot of the Resident Evil Gaming Series

With more than 10 games in totality, it has some plots which you should know. Here are some stories depending on the game.

Resident Evil 0 – Series Origin

Resident Evil 0 introduces us to new heroes Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, who are trying to halt a mystery biological assault on board a speeding train. This neatly sets the stage for the events that will unfold in the following games in the series. Also, a new mechanism called “switching” will be introduced in Resident Evil 0 that would let players swap between Billy and Rebecca to complete tasks.

Resident Evil 2- Best Entry

Resident Evil 2, widely regarded as highly as its predecessor, builds on the survival horror formula established in the original game by moving the action to a much larger portion of the city of Racoon. Also, Resident Evil 2’s phenomenally memorable characters who would go on to be series mainstays like Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong, as well as the game’s stunningly magnificent remake that was published in early 2019, and it’s evident that this is one of the finest games in the series.

Resident Evil 4 – Shook the World

It’s true that third-person survival horror shooters have become rather stale, but back in 2005, Resident Evil 4 was not only pioneering a new subgenre but also taking the Resident Evil series on a completely different path. Resident Evil 4 did more than simply shift the series’ point of view; it also signalled a shift toward a more action-oriented tone that would be continued in Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. However, with Resident Evil 4, Capcom arguably reached its pinnacle, with engaging gunplay, incredibly hideous creatures, and the return of Leon Kennedy, who is attempting to eradicate a mystery cult from a small Spanish community.

Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard would be the first game in the series to be played from the first-person perspective, marking yet another major departure in the series. The Resident Evil 7: Biohazard would, thus, provide a brand-new degree of horror while also striking a near-perfect balance between fighting, puzzle-solving, and exploration. Capcom’s first venture into first-person perspective also introduced us to the deliciously evil Baker family and the mysterious Ethan Winters, who will be making a comeback in Resident Evil Village.

Having a distinct personality makes for a more powerful brand, as shown by the Resident Evil series. The franchise has endured and thrived over the years by staying true to its unique selling proposition. Resident Evil is a must-play for every player, whether you’re a beginner trying to get into horror or a veteran tired of action games.
