Hallie gave birth to her and Beau’s first child together, daughter Natalie in the year 2004. She also has a younger brother whose name is Robert Hunter I. He was born nearly two years after Natalie’s birth.

Natalie shares a very close bond with all her cousins as well as her grandparents Joe and Jill Biden. She is rarely seen in the public eye. In the year 2016, she was spotted out and about in public while traveling with her grandmother Jill to the city of love, Paris.

Later on, Natty was snapped by the paps with both grandparents while they were off to New Zealand. Earlier this year, in the fall, as a high school senior, President Joe Biden took her on a college visit to the University of Pennsylvania.

Natalie’s father Beau Biden passed away in 2015

At that point in time, she was only 11 years old. According to various reports, her dad Beau Biden died of brain cancer in May 2015 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Back in the day, Joe Biden stated that his son Beau who was a major in the Delaware Army National Guard in the Iraq War developed brain cancer that killed him because of exposure to toxic burn pits during his deployment.

In a 2009 speech, Joe spilled the beans on his son Beau’s death and said, “In my view, I can’t prove it yet, he came back with stage 4 glioblastoma. Eighteen months he lived, knowing he was going to die.”

Beau’s funeral took place at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware, on June 6, 2015. Many renowned people such as then-President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, their daughters Malia and Sasha, former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State, and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, attended Beau’s funeral.

Last month, Joe Biden, President of the United States claimed that his son Beau ‘lost his life in Iraq.” While talking about one of the Army 10th Mountain Division’s feats during World War II, he erroneously said that his son Beau lost his life in Iraq.

At that point, Joe said, “American soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division scaled that 1,800-foot cliff at night, caught the Germans by surprise, captured key positions, and broke through the German defense line at a pivotal point in the war.”

He went on to say, “Just imagine — I mean it sincerely — I say this as a father of a man who won the Bronze Star, the Conspicuous Service Medal, and lost his life in Iraq. Imagine the courage, the daring, and the genuine sacrifice — genuine sacrifice they all made.”

Natalie Biden is Catholic

In the year 2020, Natalie was a part of Joe’s campaign for president. In August 2020, she joined her cousins Maisy, Finnegan, and Naomi to help campaign for their grandfather Joe during the Democratic National Convention’s final night.

During a segment at that time, Natalie said, “Pop told us that this election would be totally different from any other election, ever. He was worried how it would affect his kids. We just knew that he had to run, and we weren’t gonna take no as an answer.”

Natalie has spoken highly about her grandmother Jill Biden

During her virtual DNC appearance, Natalie talked about how Jill Biden is as a grandmother. At that point, she had nothing but good things to say about her grandmom Jill and she said, “I would say she’s not your average grandmother.”

Natalie went on to say, “She’s a prankster, she’s very mischievous. When she goes on a run, sometimes she’ll find like a dead snake and she’ll pick it up and put it in a bag and she’ll use it to scare someone.”
