1. Zydrunas Savickas

Zydrunas Savickas tops the list of the world’s strongest men ever. He is a Powerlifter and has several world records in his name. He won the Arnold Strongman Classic 6 consecutive times from 2003 to 2008 and again in the year 2014. Arnold Strongman Classic is an annual competition that is known for the toughest and ultimate strength test of all athletes from different parts of the world.

Zydrunas Savickas was born in the year 1975 in Birzal, Lithuania. He emerged as a winner in almost all major international strongman competitions. He created history by lifting a giant wooden log of 210 Kh (460 lb) and creating a world record.

2. Brain Shaw

Brain Shaw ranks second in the Top 10 Strongest Man in the world list. He was born in the year 1982 in Colorado, United States. Brain is an American professional strongman competitor who has been successful in winning the world’s Strongest Man competition four times in 2011,2013, 2015, and 2016.

Brain achieved the feat of recording 442 kg deadlift as well as 510 kg deadlift with hummer Tires. He was among the top 3 strongest men in the world’s strongest man competition.

3. Bill Kazmaier

Bill Kazmaier who is an American former world champion powerlifter as well as a professional wrestler is the third strongest man in the world. Bill holds several Powerlifting and Strongman records on his name.

Bill Kazmaier won World’s Strongest Man Titles three consecutive times in 1980, 1981, and 1982. He is considered as one of the all-time greatest competitors in Strength Competitions and achieved many rewards by participating in many contests in his decade-long career.

Bill Kazamaier was born in the year 1953 in Wisconsin, United States. He created a record by performing a 415 kg Deadlift without wrist straps, 1159 Kg Car Lift (two tires off the ground), and many others.

4. Mark Henry

Mark Henry, American powerlifter and former professional wrestler rank fourth in our list of the World’s top 10 strongest men. He was a two-time world champion at WWE professional wrestling event. He also participated in Olympics twice in 1992 and 1996 and won a gold, silver, and bronze medal at the Pan American Games in 1995. Mark Henry holds numerous records in powerlifting and Strongman Competitions.

Mark was born in the year 1971 in Texas, United States. He is the first man ever to win both United States Weightlifting and Powerlifting Super Heavyweight Championships simultaneously. He won Arnold Strongman Classic in 2002. He created history when he performed one-hand clean and push press the liftable Thomas Inch Dumbell.

5. Hafthor Bjornsson

Hafthor Bjornsson is Powerlifter and the world’s fifth Strongest Man. He created a record by winning the Arnold Strongman Classic, Europe’s Strongest Man, and the World’s Strongest man competition in the same calendar year. He also happens to be a professional actor and professional Basketball player. He portrayed the role of Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in the Game of Thrones series for five seasons.

Hafthor Bjornsson is born in the year 1988 in Reykjavik, Iceland. He won the title of Iceland’s Strongest Man twice in 2011 and 2019. He is credited with many personal records like 474 kg Elephant Bar, Deadlift, Long Press-213 Kg, Tire Deadlift of 460 Kg, etc.

6. Eddie Hall

Eddie Hall, a British former strongman ranks sixth in the list of the world’s strongest men. In 2017, he won the title of World’s Strongest Man. Eddie was born in the year 1988 in Staffordshire, England. He happens to be a professional actor as well and featured on television on numerous occasions.

Eddie surprised everyone with his deadlift- 500 kg in 2016 under strongman rules that happened to be Competiton World Record. Many professionals tried very hard to break the Eddie Hall Deadlift record but could not succeed.

7. Vasyl Virastyuk

The seventh world’s strongest man is Vasyl Virastyuk. Vasyl is a former Strongman and also a member of the parliament of Ukraine. He was born in the year 1974 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

He was the second runner in the 2003 competition and won the World’s Strongest Man title in 2004. Vasyl Virastyuk won Ukraine’s Strongest Man competition four times in a row from 2000 to 2003.

8. Leonid Taranenko

Leonid Taranenko is a world-famous weightlifter from Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union. He has several weightlifting records in his name.

In the year 1988, he created a record by heavy lifting 266 kg clean and jerk in the competition. He also won many gold records in the Olympic games.

9. Andy Bolton

Andy Bolton, British Powerlifter and strongman is the world’s ninth strongest man. He shot to fame when he lifted a 1000 lb. deadlift in a powerlifting competition. Andy Bolton participated in a competition when he was just 21 years old.

He has many records to his name like the fourth-highest squad of all time 1213.43 Pounds, third-highest three-lift record 2,806.34. He won WPC World Powerlifting Competitions three times in 2000, 2001, and 2008.

10. Louis Uni

Louis Uni ranks tenth in our list of the World’s Strongest Man. He was born in the year 1862 in France. He is famous for his Grip Strength, Large hands, and being a popular wrestler in that era.

He left his home at a very young age and joined the Italian circus ‘Caramagne’ near his hometown. Louis Uni made his debut in the year 1889 in a Greco-Roman wrestling competition at Bordeaux.
