This pricey 100-foot vessel was bought by a Malaysian Businessman for a whopping 4.8 billion dollars. The extremely high price tag of this yacht is because of the usage of around 100,000 kg of precious metals like solid gold and platinum for assembling this luxury liner.

The precious metals are used to make almost the entire boat right from the base of the vessel to the dining area, staircases, etc. The Master bedroom of this yacht is the center of attraction which is made up of meteorite rock.

Topaz is powered by a 7990 HP engine which can accelerate to a maximum speed of over 25.5 knots. There are two diesel generators to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to all the equipment that is onboard along with the navigation systems.

The Serene yacht is owned by the Crown prince of Saudi Arabia, billionaire Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). Serene is among the world’s largest superyachts.

The construction of this luxurious Italian superyacht was started in August 2011. It was earlier owned by Russian Vodka tycoon Yuri Shefler. Mohammed bin Salman saw this luxury yacht when he was vacationing in France and later decided to purchase it.
