Urashima comes back to his home village after spending four or five days there, only to discover that he has been transported 300 years into the future.

In 1918, Seitaro Kitayama’s Urashima Tar transformed the folk tale into one of the earliest animation movies. Portal fantasy stories from English literature, such as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865). The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) as well as Peter Pan (1904).
