1. Ariel

Ariel appears in her mermaid form in The Little Mermaid (1989). She is the seventh child of King Triton and Queen Athena of Atlantica, an underwater realm of merfolk.

Ariel is a confident and adventurous Disney Princess who is well-liked by many. She is a rebellious character who wishes to be a part of the human world in the first film.

She married Prince Eric, whom she saved from a shipwreck, and they had a daughter named Melody together. “Daddy, I love him!” Is a dialogue said by – Ariel, who is referring about Prince Eric, his love interest.

2. Snow White

Snow white as she appears in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) who is an innocent, kind, gentle, sweet, and cheerful character.

Her generous, trusting and helpful nature can cause her trouble, as other people might take advantage of it, such as her vain and evil stepmother, who, after numerous attempts, fails to kill her.

Snow White was thought to have something for everyone; it was visually spectacular, entertaining, and amusing, with a tinge of romance. Snow White was, at the time of its premiere, a one-of-a-kind film that the world had never seen before.

She is a princess, who is given the title of ‘fairest of them all’. This fairest of them all princess can also talk with the seven adorable dwarfs who look after her like the princess she is.

3. Mulan

Mulan is a popular Disney princess who appears in the film Mulan, (1998) who is renowned for her fearless personality and demonstrates that women can be just as strong as males. She eloped to the West to be with a British king when she was an unhappy Chinese girl.

Mulan emphasises that power is determined by one’s personality rather than one’s gender. Mulan is faced with a variety of obstacles or challenges throughout her tenure in the Chinese army.

But she manages to overcome them all without fail, learning how to succeed where others have failed.

4. Cinderella

Everyone knows her. Cinderella, who appears in the Disney film Cinderella, is another popular Disney Princess (1950). She had a harsh stepmother and two stepsisters who mistreated her and turned her into a scullery maid in her own home.

The cruel stepmother forbids her from attending Prince Charming’s ball. Cinderella attends, supported by her wonderful Fairy Godmother and dressed in a lovely silver gown and a one-of-a-kind pair of glass shoes, only to be forced to depart when the Fairy Godmother’s spell is broken at midnight.

Despite the abuse she receives from her stepmother and sisters, she remains a kind, peaceful, and sweet person who finds hope in her fantasies. She believes that her aspirations of happiness will come true eventually, and that her charity will be reciprocated.

Where there is kindness, there is goodness. And where there is goodness, there is magic,” a beautiful quote said by Cinderella.

5. Belle

She’s my personal favourite. She is a beauty who appears in the film Beauty and the Beast (1991). She is intelligent, resourceful, determined, and devoted to her family and friends.

While all of the Disney princesses have admirable attributes, she was the only one who promoted reading and learning.

However, Belle breaks down and confesses her love for the Beast just in time to break the enchantress’s spell, and the Beast changes back into a handsome prince.

6. Aurora

Princess Aurora, often known as Sleeping Beauty or Briar Rose, is a Disney Princess from the Sleeping Beauty film (1959). She has a graceful and gentle demeanour. She knows that if you just have the guts to dream, you can have a fantastic future.

Aurora is King Stefan’s and Queen Leah’s daughter. She was doomed to die on her baptism day by the evil fairy Maleficent.

The curse was changed to draw Aurora into a profound sleep that could only be broken by true love’s kiss, thanks to the efforts of three good fairies.

7. Rapunzel

She is a Disney princess with long, gorgeous hair who features in the film Tangled (2010). Mother Gothel, a vain old woman who raises her in an isolated tower to exploit her hair’s healing properties to remain young and beautiful forever, keeps her oblivious of her royal heritage.

The princess is kidnapped by a vain elderly woman named Mother Gothel, who uses her hair to stay young and beautiful, having acquired the healing properties of a miraculous flower the sick queen swallowed while pregnant.

Rapunzel is a vivacious, intelligent, witty, kind, playful, and very adventurous late-adolescent girl, though a little naive. When the circumstance calls for boldness, she is not hesitant to speak up for herself or others.

This Disney movie movie Tangled tells us that the more knowledge you have, the nicer you are. It’s only a matter of noticing them.

8. Anna & Elsa

Oh my goodness! I love them! So these two Disney princesses are sister characters from the film Frozen (2013). These sisters bond is unbreakable!. When it comes to Elsa, she is the epitome of a fantastic character – magical and larger-than-life.

Elsa possesses the magical ability to manipulate and generate ice and snow. She tries hard to be a good queen, grateful that her realm now accepts her. But she can’t help but wonder why she was born with special abilities.

And when it comes to Anna so she is the quintessential fairytale character: unflustered and always cheerful.

As long as Anna has her sister, she’ll be alright. She assures her sister that she should be proud for her power that she has got and should not hide them.

9. Jasmine

Jasmine as she appears in the film Aladdin (1992). Unlike most Disney princesses, Jasmine appears as a supporting character in her own film, playing the love interest. In the film, Aladdin, a street orphan, falls in love with Princess Jasmine, who is disguised as a commoner wandering the city.

After obtaining a magical lamp, Aladdin deceives everyone into believing that he is a prince in order to win the princess’ affection and marry her.

Her personality is nothing like the modest princesses of Disney’s past. Her desire to see beyond the castle gates is purely driven by her own desires, not by a man. She’s also tough and self-assured, openly refusing to marry guys she doesn’t like

Aladdin film encourages his audience to be themselves and not to feel compelled to alter for others.

10. Pocahontas

Pocahontas is the name of the main character in the film Pocahontas (1995). She is an Indian princess who falls in love with an English settler and is trapped between her father’s desire to exterminate the settlers and her desire to assist them.

She has a powerful and self-assured demeanour. Pocahontas possesses wisdom beyond her years and is compassionate with her kindness and advice to everyone around her. She adores her native land, as well as adventure and environment.

Sometimes the right path is not always the easiest.” ~ an inspiring quote said by Pocahontas.

11. Tiana

Tiana is the first African-American princess in Disney’s history. This Disney Princess is featured in the movie ‘The Princess and the Frog’.

The story is about a princess named Tiana who learned from a young age that a dream requires a little bit of magic and a lot of hard work.

Tiana is a visionary who learnt the joy of sharing wonderful cuisine with others from her father, so she dug deep and found the confidence to keep trying despite the obstacles.

Despite the numerous challenges she faces, she remains focused and determined to attain her objectives.

Tiana is a gifted young woman who is intelligent and hardworking. She is, however, too tense at the start of the movie, and for the most part throughout, she has been to be far preoccupied with work ethics to focus on relaxing, family, and friends.

Though she is aware of this and looks to be regretful of her hectic schedule, her preoccupation with realising her ambition of opening her own restaurant takes precedence.

12. Moana

As the title of the Disney movie “Moana” suggests, Moana is the name of the main Disney princess.

Moana is a strong-willed seafarer who enjoys the sea. Though she has her moments of self-doubt, she is proud of who she is and is not afraid to take on new challenges.

She takes new experiences and tasks very seriously and will battle for what she believes in, even if it appears that all is lost. Moana understands that if you bravely sail beyond your barrier, you can traverse any ocean.

Moana is the first princess to rehabilitate her main enemy, which is a wonderful fact about her. She’s also the only one who has fought both a male and a female villain.
