She has a career-high ranking of world No. 12 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). She is the current Kazakhstani female No. 1 player in singles. Rybakina has reached eight other finals on the WTA Tour, including three at the WTA 500 level, winning two titles.
She became the first-ever Kazakh tennis player from Kazakhstan to win Grand Slam and make it to the list of Top15.
Almost after a gap of 60 years, this was the first women’s title match held at the All England Club between two players in a final match where both the players made it to the final for the first time.
