On Monday, Nicki Minaj whose birth name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty took to her Instagram page to promote her forthcoming collaboration with the rising star Ice Spice. “New boobs who dis?” she wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post.
In the video shared on Instagram, the Bang Bang hitmaker can be seen posing for the camera in two low-cut tops while singing the lyrics to her latest song with Ice Spice called Barbie World from the soundtrack of the upcoming Barbie movie which is set to hit the screens on July 21, 2023.
Last year, Nicki Minaj expressed her desire to get breast reduction surgery done
While doing an Instagram live in May 2022, the Grammy nominee talked about her desire to get breast reduction surgery done. Then, she said, “I’m not gonna lie, somebody did tell me to get my boobs taken off, like a female in the industry.”
Then, the mom of one mentioned that she was not ready for such a huge change. Although, she stated that the mysterious advice giver was right. She further added, “And I was like, ‘No, no, not yet, not yet.’ And yeah, she was right. I should’ve hurried up and took them off.”
The Super Freaky Girl singer went on to say, “A cup. Oh, it’s A cup season. Yes!” During that same month, she spilled the beans on her plans at the Met Gala when she confessed to having a wardrobe malfunction with her Burberry dress.
While having a conversation with Vogue’s La La Anthony on the red carpet, Nicki said, “The only unplanned thing about my look is my boobs popping out, because they made my cup size a little small. Enjoy these t—ties cause y’all ain’t gonna see it ever again!”
Nicki Minaj previously admitted that she got butt injections at the start of her music career
In the past, the Do We Have A Problem crooner disclosed that she got butt injections early on in her career due to pressure in the industry. She shed some light on getting butt injections while making an appearance on rapper and media personality Joe Budden’s podcast in March 2022.
Then, Nicki said, “[Lil’] Wayne, he was always talking about big booties. Wayne would have a new chick in the studio every session. It was always a new big booty there. They were his muses.”
She continued, “I think they said stuff sometimes jokingly. But to a young girl or up-and-coming rapper or anything, when it’s from someone like Lil’ Wayne, it matters. You know? Even if they’re joking, they don’t know that the person that is there in that room with them is not finding it funny.”
Minaj said, “So where they might have been playing with me probably thinking ‘she’s confident, she’s good in her own skin,’ they don’t know that I always had that insecurity. They’re just joking. They didn’t mean any harm. But it wasn’t a joke to me.”
