The Old Man Filming Locations Explored
The series was two-thirds of the way through production when it was halted in mid-March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘The Old Man’ is shot in both England and the United States, precisely in Norfolk County and California.
Production restarted in the fall, with three episodes still to be filmed. Bridges were diagnosed with lymphoma in October 2020 and were required to flee to undergo cancer treatment.
After Bridges’ diagnosis, the show remained in production for a short time to film scenes from the rest of the series that did not feature Bridges’ character. The shooting was eventually completed, and the show premiered on June 16, 2022.
