The cast of the movie posted about their incredible experience after the filming wrapped.

“Verona was already my favorite place in the world, which is also really strange,” Graham said. “I had had a break-up and we got back together in Verona. And then two years later, I get this film.”

Hopper stated, “My wife tends to read a lot of the scripts before I get to them. Some of the ones she’s like, ‘Oh don’t bother, you’re not going to connect with this one.’ And then, with this one, she was like, ‘I just read this really great script called Love in the Villa. It’s a really sweet rom-com.'”

Verona, Veneto, Italy

It is one of the most stunning locations and a lovely setting for a romantic movie. You must have recalled something after noticing the location. Oh, ‘Romeo and Juliet.’

Verona is a city in the Veneto region of northern Italy, with a medieval old town constructed between the meandering Adige River. It is well-known as the setting for Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet.’

The Villa

The villa that Julie and Charles share in the movie was actually the famous Casa di Giulietta or Juliet’s House at Via Cappello, 23 in Verona. It’s a Gothic-style 1300s residence and museum with a rock balcony that Shakespeare is said to have applauded.

All visitors to Verona are channeled to the location, which is especially popular with honeymooners and young couples.
Verona Villafranca Airport is also known as Valerio Catullo Airport or Villafranca Airport and is located 10 kilometers southwest of Verona, Italy. It is also represented as a pivotal scene in the movie.
