Sicily, the largest Mediterranean island, is located just off Italy’s “toe.” The Valley of the Temples, the well-preserved ruins of seven monumental Doric-style Greek temples, and the Byzantine mosaics at the Cappella Palatina, a former royal chapel in Palermo, reflect the island’s rich history.

The island is well-known for its cathedrals, vineyards, island beaches, and breathtaking architecture. It has its own culture, just like the rest of Italy. And it’s absolutely beautiful. Many of the movie scenes rely heavily on the beautiful scenery in Sicily.

Massimo, the main character, is an Italian don from Sicily. According to the production company, the first few scenes of the movie were shot in Warsaw before being relocated to Italy due to the character Massimo.
