The ‘Bad Guy’ singer, 20, is rumored to be dating actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, But who is he exactly? Here’s everything you need to know about her 29-years-old beau.
The 20 years old singer has always been private about her relationships and dating history. But according to a source, Billie and Matthew Tyler Vorce had already started dating since the first quarter of last year.
Their First Public Appearance
Though avoided making any public appearance together until April 2021, when the pair were spotted in Santa Barbara, Calif for the first time. The couple was caught cozying up together during coffee runs.
After that the couple has been actively spotted together on different occasions; going out for casual strolls with Billie’s pet dog, Shark and hot coffee dates, costume party, and more. The pair have been pretty much “inseparable” since then. The couple was last appeared publicly together in October 2021.
And the snaps of Billie and Matthew have fans wondering about their relationship status. Though their pictures are pretty much evident. (FYI Billie even rested her head on her beloved’s shoulder at one point.)
According to an insider, Billie and Matthew “kept close to each other the whole night and never left each other’s side,” at Doja Cat’s 26th costume birthday party in Los Angeles, adding that the self-proclaimed “Actor. Writer. Degenerate” and the Grammy-nominated singer “were inseparable, sharing kisses” all night.
As expected of the super-private Billie Eilish, who has not made any public comment on their relationship tags. And neither her “potential” lover has addressed it yet. But in case you are wondering who’s he. Here’s everything we know about Matthew Tyler Vorce, Billie’s “New” Beau.
Who’s Matthew Vorce?
Matthew Tyler Vorce aka Matt Vorce is an actor and writer. The 29 years old actor is currently living in Los Angeles and is 10 years older than her rumored girlfriend. Unlike Billie, Matt hasn’t made anything big yet but everyone got an individual journey to success.
He has only eight credits to his name, including Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (2016), Searching for Putty Man (2021), and Little Monsters (2012). Apart from the movie, Vorce’s done a lot of theatre work, Voiceover roles and is also one of the creators of iHeartMedia’s horror podcast Searching for Putty Man.
According to IMDb, his latest project “The Curse of Frank Sinatra” has just entered pre-production. The film will be directed by Troy Heard. This short movie will star Alexandria Lee as Beth and Lou Demei as Teddy Maxx along with Matthew as Stewart.
Matthew’s Dark History & Apology
“I am ashamed and deeply sorry that I used them in any context. It is not how I was raised and it is not what I stand for”
After Billie and Matt’s relationships rumors started circulating on Internet, a lot of Billie’s fans began to be more and more interested in him. This led to the ultimate discovery of his past offensive tweets and Facebook comments regarding Black and Gay people. He is also accused to describe Adele as “British Miss Piggy” in 2012.
He later made an Instagram apology about his past behavior to fans stating, “I shouldn’t have used this language in the first place and I won’t use it again. I am so sorry for the hurt I have caused.”
Neither Ellie nor any of her rep has publicly acknowledged his scandal or his apology. Though Billie herself once had been caught in a similar incident, when one of her old videos went viral. She was alleged to use derogatory terms against members of the Asian community. “Therefore I am” singer was barely 12/13 years old at the time that video was taken.
Even before Vorce’s dark past resurfaced in social media, he has kept his life private and discreet. This might be the reason the tens-years-apart Billie and Matt are hitting it off. He doesn’t have a Facebook or Twitter way longer than this incident occurred. He only connects with his fans through his Instagram.
Everything about their “not-so” Official Relationship Status
Although, Billie has not disclosed any information about her current relationship. It’s probably after her break from her former rapper boyfriend, Brandon Quention Adams, aka Q. They started dating towards the end of 2018. Billie only once briefed her romance publicly a year after they split when her documentary The World’s A Little Blurry aired. Even after their breakup, the two are on amicable terms. Adams wished her a happy birthday back in December 2019.
There’s also speculation of Matthew making an off-camera appearance in the same documentary. In the scene in question, Billie gets a call after sweeping the 2020 Grammys and tells the camera it’s her “first love.” There’s no solid evidence of this was Matthew, but if so, their relationship goes way back then in 2021.
Privacy is Eilish’s preferred approach to relationships, as she explained in a September interview. During her brief interview with Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast last year she said:
“I’ve had relationships and kept them private, and even the ones that I’ve had; with the tiny amount that I’ve let the world see, I regret. I think about the people that have made their relationships public, and then they break up, and it’s like ‘What if it goes bad?”
But Billie’s eagle-eyed fans also found out that Matthew Vorce follows Billie’s mum Maggie and brother Finneas on Instagram and that they follow him back. (Billie has prolly even introduced him to her family!!)
In conclusion, things are not official and it’s highly unlikely that they’ll reveal it anytime soon. But their “lovey-dovey” appearances are making things apparent.
