The salary gets increased with each week

Yes, you read that right. After the first two weeks, the salaries of the contestants are increased for every additional two weeks they last. In addition to this, the contestants also get a bonus amount of $10,000 per week.

According to the reports of US Weekly, in 2010, the contestants were paid $10,000 per episode for the third and fourth week, $20,000 per episode for the fifth and sixth week, followed by $30,000 per episode for the seventh and eighth week, and $50,000 per episode for the final two weeks.

Maximum amount

When we talk about the total amount, taken home by the contestants of the show Dancing With The Stars. It can easily be somewhat around $345,000. In 2020, Variety stated that the maximum a contestant can earn from the show is estimated to be $295,000.

Salaries of the Pros

As per multiple reports, the professional dancers are handed over $1,200 when they start their journey on the show. Then, their salaries increase with each episode. The pros returning to the dance show make closer to $5,000 an episode.
