Blackpink is said to be the most famous Korean girl group in the world. The group consists of four members Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa. The girls were brought together in 2016 by YG Entertainment.

Not only that, but Whistle also became the most downloaded and streamed song on the Gaon chart in 2016. Even with their debut album, the band was making records.

This was the band’s third Japanese album, but it was the first Japanese studio album. Studio albums are recorded in a studio with proper equipment and control over the music. As a result, the sounds are more profound and overall better.

The album contained Japanese versions of some of the more popular tracks. This is the first time that any Korean songs were featured on their Japanese albums. It did not do as well as some other albums. It peaked at number 12 on Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums and sold around 14,710 copies.
