Rapid-Fire Divorces: 15 Shortest Celebrity Marriages Of All Time

Unlike common people, celebrities do not have the leverage to keep their personal life under the rock, especially when it comes to their partners. While some marriages stood the test of time and witnessed a happily ever after, some marriages end before celebs get the feel of it.

For instance, Pamela Anderson married five times, and it failed every time. While her latest marriage to Dan Hayhurst ended up in a split within one year, her marriage to her bodyguard, Rick Salomon crashed twice. Other celebrities with the shortest marriages include Meghan King, Nicholas Cage and Carmen Electra.

15 Shortest Celebrity Marriages

Here are the 15 shortest celebrity marriages of all time.

1 Nicolas Cage And Erika Koike (4 Days)

Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage (58) and makeup artist Erika Koike in 2019. This marked Nicholas’s fourth marriage. However, call this a drunk marriage because Nicolas married his young enough-to-be-daughter bae in Las Vegas after they got drunk. Yea, things can go nasty like that when you’re in the sin city.

However, the actor filed for an annulment just after four days after being married to Erika. The ex-couple was granted a divorce instead after 69 days. Marriage is truly a joke for some, isn’t it?

2. Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon (2 months, 6 months)

If there was an award for most marriage failures, it would surely go to Pamela Anderson. The “Baywatch” sensation has been extremely vocal about her marriages and heartbreaks. She married Rick Solomon for the first time in Las Vegas in 2007. The then-love birds got married during the three-hour break between her two shows.

However, just after 69 days, Pamela announced that the marriage was over. Pamela didn’t lose hope. She remarried Rick in 2014, but just after six months, she filed for divorce for the second time. The two released a joint statement back then, apologising to their family and friends for the hurt caused.

That being said, Pamela married her bodyguard boyfriend, Dan Hayhurst in 2020, but the couple divorced just after a year. If you’re not aware, it was also reported that Pamela married Jon Peters in 2020 but called it quits after 12 days. However,  she later revealed that they never got legally married to him.

Meghan King, known for “The Real Housewives of Orange County” exchanged vows with Joe Biden’s nephew, Cuffee Biden Owens on Oct. 11, 2021, after a courtship of just three weeks. However, the television personality and the attorney couldn’t live up to their vows as they declared their slipt in December, just after 2 months of being married.

Meghan revealed in an interview that she knew this marriage won’t last, and it didn’t. “This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows, and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out,” she posted on her IG story, adding, “I am moving forward with my children [from first marriage] as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.”

Lisa mentioned that her marriage to Cage was a big mistake.  “I’m sad about this, but we shouldn’t have been married in the first place. It was a big mistake,” Presley released a statement after the news of their split became public. She even accused Cage of throwing “temper tantrums”.

Nicolas, on the other hand, stated, “Oftentimes when you have two people who are very strong and their own personalities and rather intense, sometimes you can have a hard time meshing.”
