The Chinese smartphone maker company, Realme is all set to enter the tablet world with the launch of the Realme Pad. And just ahead of its launch, the firm has teased some key features of the product including its processor, battery life, and fast charging technology.
Realme India and European region CEO, Madhav Sheth took on Twitter to announce Realme Pad and its availability in the European market, and Indian Market. Ever since its renders were leaked online a few months back, the tablet was a matter of discussion in the tech market. So, check out all the available information regarding the Realme Pad.
Realme Pad: Features
Even before the launch, various features have already been disclosed online by the firm itself. The Realme Pad will feature a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Designed especially for heavy gaming, the tab is expected to offer stable frame rates and the best graphics rendering. Further, the 7100 mAh battery will make sure that you get 65 days of standby time. And to quickly juice up this battery you will get 18W fast charging support.

Announcing the product, Madhav Sheth tweeted, ” The familiarity with the UI has made it easier for me to get used to the latest #realmepad. It is very convenient for me to carry it everywhere in Europe, making it extremely easy to attend business meetings on the go. #UltraSlimRealFun. It’s worth noticing that, he mentioned, “Europe”. It means, other than India, Realme Pad will also be available for the European market.
Just a few hours ago, a teaser page has gone live on Flipkart disclosing all the key features of the Realme Pad. The device will have a 10.4-inch full-screen WUXGA+ display that will offer 2,000×1,200 resolution. The tab is 6.9 mm thick and has bezels on all sides. Further, the front shooter is placed just above the top bezel, and a single 8MP camera setup at the back. The image posted on Flipkart suggests that the tab will come in in a Golden finish. But, according to renders that were leaked online before, we will also have a grey finish model.
In terms of storage, Realme Pad will feature 6 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard memory. However, there isn’t any confirmation on the storage. So, these are just the expected figures. Further, it will come along with Android 11, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and will support Type-C charging.
Realme Pad: Release Date, and Price
Realme first tab, Realme Pad will launch alongside Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i on September 9 for both, Indian and European Market. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event will be held online and will kick off at 12:30 p.m. IST.
Now, if I talk about the pricing, the Realme Pad is expected to launch at the price of Rs. 22,999. But, as we mentioned, it is an expected price. Therefore, there is a high possibility that there could be a difference between the actual price and the guessed price.
