Amazon on Tuesday released its latest Kindle Paperwhite 11th generation that comes along with USB Type-C charging support and a 6.8-inch big Display. The product comes in two different variants – Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle paperwhite Signature Edition. The signature addition will offer 32GB of onboard memory, and a light sensor that will keep on adjusting on its phone. Furthermore, it is also expected that Amazon is going to launch its new Echo devices, and services at the 28th September hardware event.

The new Kindle Paperwhite comes along with a 6.8-inch glare-free display which is an improvement over its predecessor. The bezels have also been reduced to 10 mm. There aren’t any changes in the PPI count. Similar to its predecessor, the latest release also offers 300-pixel density. However, according to Amazon’s claim, the new Kindle paperwhite will offer a 10% brighter display.
The product also features an adjustable warm light and white-on-black mode. These features give you access to reading in both day and night time. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition also comes along with auto-adjustable front light. This feature helps the Kindle to automatically get adjusted to the surrounding lighting.
When it comes to storage, the new Kindle paperwhite offers 8GB onboard storage. Whereas, the signature edition offers 32GB storage. Amazon is also claiming that both these new releases will deliver the best battery life among all the Kindles. To be specific, it will take more than 10 weeks to drain out the battery of these Kindles. Furthermore, the USB Type-C charging and 10W adapter can charge from 0 to 100 in 2.5 power. The Signature Edition also has the option of wireless charging.
This time around you will also get a completely new interface that Amazon has recently designed. And from now on you can easily travel between home screen, library and the book that you are currently reading. The library has also been revamped, and now it comes with new filters, updated collections, and a completely modern scrollbar.

With the advancement in interface and hardware, Amazon is claiming that the new kindles will offer 20% faster page turns and the best user experience. Furthermore, the device features an IPX8 rating to protect it from unintentional water encounters. However, even after the release, we still don’t have an image of the new Kindle Paperwhite, and Signature Edition.
When it comes to pricing, the Kindle Paperwhite is priced at $139.99. The Signature Edition will cost $189.99, and the kid’s edition is available at a price of $159.99. We only have one color option, i.e Black. The pre-orders for these new Kindle releases have started on Amazon.
