iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini: Key Features
First of all, let’s take a look at all the key features of the base model of the latest iPhone series. The base model is the best option for all those people who don’t want Pro-level camera features.
Display
The screen size of the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 is similar to their respective predecessors, i.e 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch. But this time, the availability of Super Retina XDR Display makes sure that the device is 28% brighter than its predecessor. Both the base models of the iPhone 13 series come along with 1200 nits of maximum brightness. And the iPhone 13 Mini features 2340 x 1080 resolution. Whereas, the iPhone 13 features 2532 x 1170 resolution.
The latest iPhone series comes along with a 20% less notch and an updated front-facing TrueDepth camera system. To protect the device from unintentional drops, it has been given the Ceramic Shield cover glass, similar to iPhone 12. Further, the IP68 water-resistant will make sure that the smartphone can stay under 6 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
Processor
iPhone is known for offering the best performance among its closest competitors, all thanks to the best chipset that features in the device. This time, Apple has introduced an upgraded A15 Bionic chip for their latest iPhone 13 series.
The chipset has a 6-core CPU, among which 2 is used for offering the best performance, whereas, the rest are efficient cores. Further, it features a 4-core GPU, that makes sure that you get the best gaming performance.
Camera
The camera is one aspect in which Apple barely makes any compromise. The base model of the iPhone series features a diagonal 12+12 Megapixel wide and an ultra-wide dual-camera setup at the back.
The 12 Megapixel wide camera comes along with an f/1.6 Parichay that collects 47% more light than its predecessor and offers better stabilization. The other 12 Megapixel ultra-wide cameras come along with an f/2.4 aperture that will be used for offering the best photography experience in low lighting conditions.
Along with all the pre-available camera modes in the iPhone series that include portrait mode, night mode, and time-lapse, this time Apple has introduced a new cinematic mode in the iPhone 13 series. This feature will produce movie-quality depth effects by seamlessly shifting focus from one object to another while effectively blurring the background. Further, the iPhone 13 series can record videos up to 4K 60fps.
In front, we have a 12-Megapixel shooter that will be used for face ID recognition and taking beautiful selfies using the night mode, cinematic mode, Smart HDR 4, Deep Fusion, and many more other features.
