Back 4 Blood Release Date, Preview and Gameplay Trailer

Back 4 Blood is a zombie shooter game that is being made on the concept of Left 4 Dead. Developed by Turtle Rock, the game will be compatible with Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. And now, it is just a few days away from its launch.

Back 4 Blood is a complete package of guns, enemies, and gore where we will witness our human protagonist, “The Cleaners” fighting against the zombies’. As the game is approaching its release date, the developers have started to release trailers and exclusive footage of the game.

From the launch date to the availability of beta testing, we’re here with all the information available on Back 4 Blood. So, without any further ado, let’s get started.

Back 4 Blood Release Date, and Compatible Devices

As per an update posted on Back 4 Blood’s official Twitter account, the release date has been delayed for some reason. The game which was earlier set to release on June 22, 2021, will now be releasing on October 12, 2021.

Talking about compatibility, the game will be playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Back 4 Blood Open Beta

Turtle Rock held the Alpha testing for Back 4 Blood between December 17 – December 21, 2020. The developers also organized beta testing between August 12th and August 16th. It means, both alpha and beta testing of the game has been done, and now the only option left with you to try out the game is to wait for its official release.

By the way, the beta testing featured two PvP maps, two co-op maps, and the Fort Hope community hub. However, for all those who missed alpha and beta testing, there’s another method through which you can play the game before anyone else. The game will be releasing its Ultimate or Delux edition on October 7th. Thus, by getting it, you can try the game before anyone else in the world.

Back 4 Blood Trailer and Preview

Today, Back 4 Blood released a 1-minute launch trailer of the game on its YouTube channel. The trailer showcases another look at the game if you haven’t seen it already through the reviews or by participating in beta testing. The trailer gives us a glimpse of weapons that we will be using in the game and it includes lots of guns and melee items.

Furthermore, the trailer is totally based on the campaign mode. That’s why we barely see any PvP mode clip in the trailer. But if you are a beta tester, then by far now, you would have already tried out the PvP mode. But for all those who haven’t tried the beta version, the PvP mode of the game will be called “Swarn”. And most importantly, it would be nothing like what we have experienced in the PvP mode of Left 4 Dead.

In Swarn, 8 players will be divided into two teams equally. The team to last longer against Zombie attacks will be considered as the winner. Whereas in Left 4 Dead PvP mode, one team plays the role of zombies, and the other tries to defeat them without getting infected. Furthermore, the developers have confirmed that there won’t be any other PvP mode other than Swarn.

So, this was all the information available on Back 4 Blood. We will update this article as soon as a new update comes on this game. Till then, keep visiting TheTealMango for more interesting tech and gaming news.
